EHS Tasks:

- Responsible for environmental, health and safety matters and associated licensing at the Power Station and shall ensure that EHS activities are monitored, controlled and reviewed.
- Maintain close ties with all Power Station personnel, Alstom O&M Product Center, On-shore Alstom organization, Other Alstom Power O&M Power Stations, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Local community, etc….
- Conducting all business activities according to Alstom’s Code of Ethics
- Set up and implement the Environmental, Health & Safety Management system.
- Carry out regular environmental and health & safety audits.
- Establish and manage an accident and HSE incident investigation system.
- Organise and carry out all training required for statutory and mandatory licenses and authorisations.

- Ensure that business at site is conducted in line with ALSTOM Power O&M commitments set in the “Power Station Management Policy” and legal obligations applicable.
- Supervise Q, and EHS improvement actions.
- Roll-out the Power Station Management System (POMS) implementation plan in compliance with milestones set with the TSGY Mobilisation Team.
- Prepare the site in order to pass the internal audit prior to Lyods certification audit
- Liase with O&M Sites Process Manager in order to implement identified POMS related open items resulting from site assessment, internal audit or external audit
- Update the POMS compliance performance indicators set with the Mobilisation Team and/or with the ALSTOM Power O&M Stations Process Manager. Analyse and report to the Product Center the achievements.
- Teamwork with all site functions and ALSTOM Product Center concerning POMS issues
- Ensure through audits that the Power Station Management System (POMS) remains consistent with the requirements and fit for purpose,
- Conducting all business activities according to Alstom’s Code of Ethics

- Contributing to the HSE policy establishment, which sets safety rules and defines the measures and means of prevention and intervention to ensure the safety and protection of men, respect for the environment and the safeguarding of assets;
- Contributing to the establishment of a set of performance indicators as part of HSE continuous improvement and maintenance by setting targets and objectives in the prevention of occupational risks in the system "Man / Machine / Environment "in close relation with the quality, cost and delay;

- Development of the HSE management plan specifically for the project. The main objective of the plan was to present the way of implementation of the HSE management process including:

- Development and Monitoring of the Project Management Plan (PMP);
