• Working closely with G&G and RE team to decide the well utility, completion and perforations intervals proposal.
• Well test design and results interpretation (well potential).
• Follow up with field engineers until well production or injection startup.
• Regularly wells testing (MPFM, Vx and Separator).
• Production modeling & optimization using PROSPER
• Design MPLT, buildups and falloffs, as well as interpreting results using SAPHIR and EMRAUDE.
• Prepare Offtakes on monthly basis to honor daily Production Budget & CPF handling capacity.
• Continuously monitor well performance (Production, injection, FWHP, FWHT. Gas Lift & Dilution Water…etc) with the available tools (SCADA and in-house tools).
• Design and plan Rigless operations in Hassi Berkine field (slick line, Coiled tubing, Acid stimulation, Hydraulic fracturing…..etc).
• Design Production and interference tests to determine well potential and connectivity.
• Monitoring and evaluating reservoir performance.
• Balance gas and water injection across the field based on pressure maintenance and breakthroughs.
• Set up long-term projects planning for each well and for each area.
• Build Surface Network system using the GAP software, which incorporates all Field wells in order to optimize production and injection based on surface constraints.
• Explore and implement artificial lift (AL) options to recover reserves from depleted wells using (ESP, Jet pump, coil in coil, Multiphase pump).
• Support delivery of petroleum resources production allocation and volume balance reports to management.
• Motivate and provide petroleum engineering coaching and mentoring support by being proactive in contributing to current knowledge and transfer of technology through undertaking of internal trainings.
• Participate in all reserve audits; prepare required documents, and technical presentations to be submitted to management and partners.
Participate/discuss well planning and management of change.
• Lead, supervise team work & maintain the right safety behavior of co-workers on well site.
• Prepare/Manage the daily operations associated with the job: scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, precise
reporting of all well site activities and events.
• Optimize production and injection performance.
• Help to turn & maintain well integrity risks at safe zone.
• Identify areas for improvement to ensure company continue achieving Goals related to safety, integrity management,
compliance & reliability.
• Facilities Engineering / Upgrades for Field Development/Facility Workshop & Failure Analysis.
• Help identify opportunities to increase production on a daily/monthly basis by adjusting rates within the limits specified.
• Continuously monitor well performance (Production, injection, FWHP, FWHT. Gas Lift & Dillution Water…etc) with
the available tools (SCADA and in-house tools).
• Coordinate with petroleum SS team to Prepare Offtakes to honor daily Production Budget & CPF handling capacity, which is done on Monthly basis.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Plan and execute well operations in a remote field office for production and injection wells. The job includes preparing well programs and coordination of field operations associated with:
• Coiled tubing- cleanouts (asphaltene and salt removal), fishing, and stimulations (Acid and frac).
• Well tests- Separator, Vx, BHP sampling.
• Slickline- Drifts, fishing, plug setting, plug retrieval, MPLTs.
• Wireline interventions such as logging & perforations.
• Perform studies to monitor well performance and evaluate the success of work program, And Recommend improvements to operational methods by analyzing past work results, Determine solutions for problem wells.
Responsible for volume allocations of Oil, Gas, and Water produced or injected into the GB wells at HBNS & Ensuring
that all reports are maintained in an acceptable manner with Optimizing HBNS production and injection performance.
• Monitoring, surveying & evaluating Well integrity on Daily basis.
• Data base creation, collection & mapping, build WI database, well barriers definitions & schematics.
• Evaluate MASSP calculations method used in GB & set recommendations.
• Ensure that all outstanding Well Integrity issues are captured within the integrity database and solutions managed to
execution in a timely manner.
• Provide standard guidelines to ensure that technical integrity of all the wells is maintained throughout their life cycle.
• Responsible for the Oil Gathering & Injection Distribution system across the field to include all pipelines, manifolds &
control equipment; Ensure that all facilities are maintained in an acceptable manner; develop isolations for maintenance
repair & tie-ins of new facilities; ensure that full benefit is obtained from planned / unplanned shut-downs with respect
to repairs, modifications or tie-ins; act as liaison between Operations & Maintenance / Construction personnel to
minimize work clashes & generally look for ways to continually the operability & uptime of the surface operations
network & any other Operations activities where previous experience indicates improvements can be made.
