Building the organization of hotels learning & development administration.

The project entitled “Proteomic analysis of biofilm culture of Cunnienghamella elegance” is based on to use C. elegance fungi as a Drug metabolism model to identify the proteins involved in the drug metabolism.
Bioprocessing and laboratory analysis
Training on:
Environmental monitoring of air by passive air (Settle plate), active air and surface monitoring.
Sampling of pharmaceutical grade water from utility and microbiological analysis of water.
Bioburden testing, Microbial Limit Test (MLT), Gram staining and Endotoxin test (BET).
Preparation of culture media, isolation and identification of environmental isolates.
Training on Bioprocess:
Clean room classification, cleanroom behavior and gowning procedures.
Introduction to Utility, AHU, HVAC and pharmaceutical grade water processing.
Upstream and Downstream processing facility, CIP, SIP of Bioreactor, Vacuum leak test and chromatographic column packing.
As part of the internship I got opportunity to work in the ISO certified laboratory. I learned Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP). I got hands on experience on maintenance of cell culture, isolation and identification of microorganisms, identification of pathogens from clinical samples and biochemical analysis.
Core Modules in MSc. Biotechnology; Microbial and Animal Cell Products, Pharmacology and Drug Development, Biomedical Diagnostics, Regulatory Science and Recombinant DNA Technology
Core Modules included in the B.S Microbiology were Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Serology, and Immunology.
