Leading Southern Europe Cluster Data & Information Management team which has an mission of providing advise, develop and support the Business departments on the adoption of an data-driven digital path that enables business processes and decision making to be: cost-efficient, effective and generate value towards the organization.
Assumed responsibilities on the successful development & delivery of of Global level strategical projects at local level and through the delivery of regional / country specific solutions to address specific requirements raised by the Business.

Data & Information Management Technical Lead/Architect for Southern Europe assuming the following responsibilities:
- Envision, Define, Propose and discuss approach on Data & Information management solutions Architecture
- Assume the technical leadership of the Data & Information management team on the rollout of Local, Regional or Global Data management solutions
- Discuss, Gather and perform analysis of Business Requirements and propose the most suitable solutions to address the requests within the Data & Information management landscape
- Participation and Local/Regional support on global Data & Information management initiatives such like MDM, EDW, Data Quality Framework and others
Technology background: Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Control-M Workload Automation
Integrated in Agile DevOps team Risk Information Services which covers the following roles within ING's Credit Risk Data Warehouse domain:
- Production Support
- End User Support
- Implementation of Functional / Technical changes

implement ETL processes that integrate and synchronize data provided by the Credit & Collections Control System (ICS) to the corporate Data Warehouse of Du for operational analysis. Technology base used: Informatica PowerCenter 8.1, Oracle 10g, UNIX
- CVM (Customer Value Management) project for Etisalat telecom operator (UAE) - The goal of the project was to implement a Customer Value & Retention Data Mart that gathers information from operational systems and provides valueable information for Customer retention department decision making process. Technology base used: Ascential DataStage 7.5.3, Oracle 10g, UNIX, Hyperion Performance Suite 9.3
- Database Integration at Ogilvy/Nestlé - The purpose of the project was to make a GAP and Impact Analysis on the Online and Offline Platforms with the goal of defining an integrated Business Intelligence platform with information from Nestlé Corporate Websites, Promotional Sites. Commercial and Survey data provided by Nestlé Commercial Department. The technology basis used in this project was: Sybase PowerDesigner 12.0, Informatica PowerMart 5.0 and Oracle 9i;
- Data Warehouse Audit at Portugal Telecom Comunicações - The purpose of the project was to make an Audit/Analysis to the implementation of Sybase IWS Framework (Sybase Data Warehouse Framework) made in Portugal Telecom and check that all the implementation was according to Sybase and Data Warehouse Business Intelligence Best Practices. The main focus on this project was to propose actions to increase the Data Warehouse Reporting and ETL performance. The technology used in this project was: Sybase PowerDesigner 12.0, Sybase IWS Framework, UNIX (Shell Scripting) Sybase IQ12.6, Oracle 9i and Microstrategy;
- Data Warehouse Database Migration to Sybase IQ at Portugal Telecom
Comunicações - The purpose of the project was to change the Database infrastructure of the Data Warehouse Sybase IQ Analytical Database. The project involved changes in ETL and Reporting. The main goal of the project was to get ETL and Reporting performance improvements. The project was developed with the following technology: Ascential Datastage, Microstrategy, Oracle 9i, Sybase IQ, Linux Redhat, PowerDesigner 12.1
- Joined a WeDo Consulting team in the developing of UMTS project at Optimus Telecom. The UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) project goal was to extend the Corporate Data Warehouse to support the processing and reporting of data of UMTS services.
- Participation in the developing process of Information Needs for Small and Medium Enterprises Clients Segment project at Optimus Telecom (Mobile Telecom). The project goal was to extend the reporting capabilities related with the analysis of Small and Medium Enterprises Clients of Optimus Telecomunicações.
- Participation in the design and developing process of TCS LINE project. The project goal was to configure TCS (Traffic Configurable System) to integrate LINE platform data. The initial service configured was the Push-To-Talk service. Participation in the developing process of DW Reporting project. The project goal was to develop the OLAP Reporting featuring the needs of Planning and Management Control department of Optimus Telecomunicações. The project implied the development of new ETL processes, modelling new Hyperion Essbase 7 cubes and the development of an Excel/VBA data reporting tool.
- Participation in the development of Traffic Configurable System (high performance Call Detail Record processing system) pilot project for the Brazilian mobile operator Oi.
- Participation in the development of Traffic Configurable System (high performance Call Detail Record processing system) pilot project for the Brazilian mobile operator Brasil Telecom.
- Deployment and Presentation in Brasil Telecom headquarters in Brasilia - Brazil.Participation in the development of Traffic Configurable System (high performance Call Detail Record processing system) pilot project for the Spanish mobile operator Amena.
- Deployment and Presentation in Amena (now called Orange) headquarters in Madrid - Spain.
