Responsible for delivering Commercial Deals Financials through carrying below activities:
• Financial performance (Commit, Orders, Sales, CM) planning, reporting and variance analysis
• Working closely with commercial sales team on closing deals (weekly discussions on path to close and MOM action points follow-up)
• Business Partnering with sales team, commercial operations and projects management team to deliver on Sales & Cash figures of planned and won deals as per the contracts & discussions
• Ad-Hoc requests (Management Presentation, Contracts review for financial terms, financial ratio analysis - Solvency, profitability and leverage etc)
• Successfully Built an interactive Sales Analytics Dashboard
• Monthly commercial sales closing activities
Role Summary:
Support from a financial perspective in the financial planning, reporting and analysis activities and setting appropriate guidelines, as well as identifying main risks and opportunities. Acting as a key business partner to sales, marketing, supply chain and HR team.
Main Responsibilities:
Planning, reporting and Analysis:
• P&L Planning, Forecasting and Actual reporting on monthly basis
• Executing P&L monthly closing activities
• Analyse the evolution of actual results vs forecast and budget and last year
• Preparing Management Presentation on business performance to global team
Budget and Trade Spend Management:
• Budget and Trade spend planning for the Full year and Y-T-G update
• Setting SKU full year promotional activities planning and ROI analysis
• Budget control, actuals monitoring and variance vs target OP on monthly basis
• SAP PR/PO approvals
• Accounts Payables customer invoice management and validations of proof of performance
Pricing and Profitability Analysis:
• Delivering P&L simulation for new skus or promotional activities
• P&L Break-even analysis - to identify target volume, sales or costs to break-even
• Preparing Management Presentation on business performance to global team
• Business Partnering with all departments to provide advisory support on finance topics
• Setting proper business controls, policies and process on the different finance activities including reporting (checklist), spends approvals process, expense classifications etc
• Managing the Price Structure for the entire region
Compliance:
• Coordinating with GRC departments on performing internal compliance tests on quarterly, yearly basis based on the global team requirement or/and Audit recommendations to ensure compliance of with US GAAP, management & local reporting, Global Policies
• Setting procedure of monthly closing activities
• Carrying compliance and control checklist on monthly basis
Responsible for reporting and driving P&L and Balance Sheet KPI for MEA to Commercial Finance and Controlling Director through:
• Planning, forecasting and actuals reporting of P&L Statement on monthly basis
• Carry a P&L Statement value-chain analysis to drive bottom line GM% on selected countries in the region
• Monitoring restructuring and Blocks Costs Budget Tracker for FY14 & FY15 on a monthly basis for MEA regions, ensure that all expenses are provisioned for
• Minimize and optimize NWC by achieving an overdue/Open Balance % of 0 by: Preparing Ageing Analysis report on a monthly basis using STAR software and sending A/R performance reports on a monthly basis to MEA countries controllers and receive feedback for poor performance
• Revising management report comments prepared by director
• Driving controlling process efficiency, optimization and sustainability
• Lead of “Headlight Project” saving buckets tracking on a monthly basis
Responsible for supporting Area Managers for GCC/MED/NBD in meeting their Target Orders and Retail Sales on monthly basis through:
• Sales Planning and Forecasting
• Sales Budget Management: C&F Discount and Cash & Sales Promotion spends tracking, monthly issuance of monthly budget status reports
• Making daily transactions on Norris/SAP software
• Pro-active Order and Retail Sales Performance Analysis (CY vs PY vs FCST) on monthly basis, Feedback from area managers on Gap, and any initiative to push gap
• Coordinate with Volume Management team to ensure that C&F Discounts Incentives are given to NSC as committed by Sales Team
Responsible for supporting the Brand Team in meeting their KPI Targets and driving their Portfolio Profitability by:
• Carrying Category KPI’s Performance Analysis presentations on Monthly basis
• Providing advice on how to maximize the Category Portfolio profitability through Max the Mix Initiatives, investment spends control decisions (TMI%GSV, A&P%TO)
• Responsible for Innovations Performance tracking, Budget tracking (CPP & P spends)
• Worked with updating P&L Statement Actual Performance at the end of each month
• Prepared BB Finance On-Boarding Deck for New Joiners
