- Develop, maintain, review, continually improve and support implementation of EDGE GROUP HSE management system, standards, guidelines, and procedures to effectively manage personal and process safety thorough assessment of operational HSE risks, regulatory requirements, international codes & standards, and industry best practices
- Provide specialized technical support, advice, and guidance including capability enhancement support to EDGE GOUP businesses in implementation of corporate HSE MS and standards; and in defining and executing fit-for-purpose compliance including assessment tools / mechanisms.
- Design and implement programs to improve implementation of HSE MS and standards and address prevailing operational issues across the GROUP
Develop and implement strategies for effective and timely communication of changes including introducing new standards / guidelines etc
- Identify, escalate and cascade matters of concern on compliance and implementation of corporate HSE MS and standards through appropriate channels to ensure that issues are dealt with and that future HSE risks are controlled
- Participate in independent verification and assurance of HSE MS and standards implementation across EDGE Group by leading/participating in HSE audits & supporting external audits & reviews.
- Manage the development and excution of HSE strategies and Assurance Program across ENOC group to effectively manage HSE risks across the life cycle
- Lead the HSE Competency development and knowledge management across ENOC and act as a SPOC for HSE performance planning, monitoring and reporting to the senior management
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and updating of GROUP HSE management system, standards, strategies, guidelines and HSE Assurance program and monitor their effective implementation.
- provide oversight for safe execution of various projects across ENOC group through periodic review, site audits and awareness programs right from concept to construction to operation until de-commissioning and abandonment stages
- Strongly engage with segments/BUs management and HSE managers, act as change agent for implementation of group HSE MS and standards requirements including capability building by arranging internal as well as external trainings.
- Lead/participate in HSE audits and major incident investigation and ensure preventive actions are closed satisfactory.

Responsibilities
• Establishing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and systems for effective management of operation and site/project field activities. Ensuring compliance with Company Laws, regulations, and HSE policy.
• Leveraging risk management techniques to identify and evaluate HSE hazards/risks for facilities/work activities and recommended measures to site.
• Conducting HSE audits/inspections and reviewing findings from all audits/inspections/incident investigations and tracking of recommendations/ follow up of remedial actions are closed out in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Serving site HSE SPOC (Single Point of Contact), coordinating/ensuring that incident reporting and investigation processes are implemented in line with established procedures.
• Promoting safe working systems, procedures, and safety awareness campaigns. Identifying and evaluating HSE hazards, recommending measures to reduce them. Reviewing/ updating site risk register.
• Investigating all industrial and non-industrial incidents and accidents involving personnel, plant, and equipment including dangerous occurrences.

• Conducting Job Safety Assessments (JSAs), ensuring the implementation of identified measures, and preventing accidents through an organized process.
• Deploying, leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing site HSE Engineers, and drives compliance and improvements. Superintending fire and safety teams to driving safety performance and ensuring lagging KPIs are met.

• Reviewed ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents submitted during the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, reviewed techno-commercial vendor offers, and prepared equipment, material and man-hour estimates.
• Researched key information from the tender specification. Collated technical inquiry requests (Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors.
• Served as a guide for Vendor Offer Review, performed Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and reviewed vendor drawings and documents in lines with organization checklists.
• Liaised with vendors, to inspect vendor works and workshops, and provided dispatch clearance and test certificates.
• Participated in HAZOP meetings with the client and representatives of other engineering disciplines.
• Provided strategic guidance and technical support to construction sites and Commissioning Engineers provide startup assistance as required.
