• Performs calculations to determine earth curvature corrections, atmospheric impacts on measurements, traverse closures and adjustments, level runs and placement of markers.
• Records survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings and sketches.
• Searches for section corners, property irons and survey points.
• Compares survey computations with applicable standards to determine adequacy of data.
• Sets out and recovers stakes, marks and other documentation.
• Provide survey reduction adjustment, analysis and mapping using the latest survey and mapping software.
• Oversees work of a survey crew.
• Accurately reads and interprets drawing and sketches.
• Performs necessary survey calculations.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise the work of several field survey crews.
