Key Responsibilities :
-Devising annual budget module for the business units, evaluating the difference between annual budget and actual performance by means of various MIS reports/ tools and accordingly advising on any variances from the budget.
-Preparing monthly management reports to support budgeting and operational purposes encompassing budget variance reports, consequently preparing forecast as a result of any economic/ market changes where achieving the approved budget become a constrain to aid corrective actions and further decision making.
-Congregating business units to comprehend each unit strategy constraint from the bank’s delineated strategy, thus obtaining the budget estimates from various departments of the organization and significantly streamlining/ controlling budgeting processes, ensuring its timeliness, accuracy and consistency.
-Extending vigorous forecast on business performance and designing branches profitability forecast for external partners as per the requirement to achieve bank goals and objectives.
-Instrumental in amalgamating the data for budget presentation, thereby provided summary of the financial status of the entire bank. Prepared consolidated forecasts and budgets.
-Drafted financial reports for ALCO ‘Assets and Liabilities Committee’ and various other reports highlighted the monthly profitability of bank products, ascertained appropriate/accurate preparation and submission of financial returns to various internal and external authorities. In addition of conducting ratio analysis for products as a part of performance tracker.
-Communicated effectively with external partners for providing information to them regarding the bank’s performance and accordingly analyzed the reports output in line with organizational standards.
-Actively partook in analyzing products, conducted product reviews and built modules as part of High 5 initiative.
-Prepared the Profit Equalization report.
