The internship is done as part of the Post-Graduation Programme in one of the leading global supplier and manufacturer of advanced composite components for the Architectural Design, Transportation and Boat Building markets. The responsibilities taken in the organisation are as follows-
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT-Preparation of project review pack, Preparation of O&M manual
• QA/QC- Internal auditing of work instruction, Maintaining QMS protocols
• PLANNING- Preparation and updation of production schedules, Coordination with production team
• SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT- Material purchase, Vendor development

Served as point-of-contact with clients architects, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors while overseeing 16 personnel for rupee 500cr government sector contracting firm. Acted as Site Engineer, monitoring workflow and subcontractors and planning work schedule. Submitted technical drawings and supervised work programs and samples for client. Performed subcontractor billing and paperwork review and determined appropriate actions. Conducted field review and managed site safely.
Projects:
• Construction of 108 numbers of flat under UTTAR PRADESH AVAS VIKAS YOJNA at Vasundhara Ghaziabad.
• Reconstruction of N.P.CO-ED. SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL under N.D.M.C. New Delhi.
Worked with prestigious national construction company for one of the biggest construction Giant JAYPEE GROUP at KENSINGTON BOULEVARD sector 132 (a 540 crore rupee project).Learned about the structure of 26 floor building including its foundation and super structure. Served as a Graduate Engineer trainee and coordinated with the client’s Engineers and consultants in absence of the seniors.
This programme of studies builds upon the concepts and practices of Project Engineering and Management and combines subject knowledge with project practices. Proficiency in engineering and construction of projects in different sectors. Skills in financial, marketing and human resource issues in the projects. Techniques of dealing with quality, planning, software and IT systems. The electives offered in the programme allow engineers from different disciplines to select special engineering and management subjects to enhance their subject expertise in tune with careers of their choice. The industries like Steel, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power etc. need these professionals for their projects. The project management professionals are opted by EPC organizations and even the Engineering consultants to complete the projects effectively. The professionals have equal opportunity in all Engineering organizations.
