Recruitment:
* Advertising for vacancies.
* Preparing CV
Ensuring all payments (school fees- rewards, etc.)
* Maintaining listing of approved positions along with assigned salary grade
levels.
Employee Files:
* Organizing and updating employee files.
* Tracking employee progress, noting promotions, recognitions and policy
violations and documenting them accordingly.
Employee’s Daily transactions:
* Encouraging and promoting the well-being of the university's employees.
* Addressing issues related to all kinds of leaves: Annual, Sick,
bereavement, Maternity, emergency…etc. in line with AGU rules and
regulations.
* Ensuring if the employee + Family are eligible for air ticket performing
air ticket / reimbursement requests.
* Handling life insurance coverage for non-Bahraini staff.
* Organizing and following up all kinds of conferences, field works
workshops and symposiums requests In/outside Bahrain.
* Tracking employees fingerprint, Absence, Late attendance and early
leave in daily basis Reports.
* Handling and processing all issues related to Social Insurance and
Pension Fund Organizations: new enrollees, joining past services,
assumed service, employee share & AGU share for pension, loans,
commutation and end of service.
* Keeping employee records up to date by processing employee status
changes in timely fashion.
* Arranging and registering all participations of AGU staff.
Manage Employee-Employer Relationship
* Acting as a liaison between employer and employee, overseeing employee
relations. This involves receiving and effectively handling employee
complaints, escalating these complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal
action when necessary, updating employees with any changes in company
policy, advising supervisors on treatment of staff and company policies,
responds to employee violations of policy and generally helps to resolve
conflict in the workplace.
Exit Process
* Handling and processing all documents related to Employment
termination & retirement.
Geographic Information
Identifying and communicating with potential candidates.
* Conducting interviews, performing employment verification and
background checks.
* Preparing employment offers and contracts.
* Once a candidate has accepted an employment offer, we complete the
hiring process. This includes completing and filing all hiring paperwork,
educating employees in regards to compensation, benefits and company
policies, designing, implementing the orientation, and training process.
Payroll:
* Managing and organizing employees’ salaries (Full timers -
part-timers) using SAP since 2014 / Oracle since 2008
* Maintaining budget spreadsheet that includes salaries and allowances.
* Ensuring the compensation of overtime hours.
