• Support the Project On-scene Commander (POSC) as necessary.
• Ensure all workers are aware of the emergency.
• Instruct Subcontractors' employees to proceed to muster points or to evacuate the site when instructed.
• Ensure that Subcontractors confirm the presence of all workers at the Muster Point.
• Assist the Rope Rescue Team, the Fire Fighting Group and or the Project Emergency Response Team.
• Inform Project SHES Manager of the evacuation status.
• Establish a safe evacuation route based on wind direction.
• Participate in post incident debriefing.
• Daily check safe access and egress routes in their assigned areas,
• Coordinate responses between in all Project areas.
• In the event of any incident, provide an immediate report of known facts to CPY SHES representative.
• Determine if incident is reportable to State of Qatar authorities.
• When situation is stabilized, conduct an investigation of the causes, effects and response to the emergency, and prepare a written report, highlighting conclusions and recommendations.
• Ensure that all recommendations are closed out in a timely manner by the appointed leaders.

• Monitor and report on corporate Health & Safety objectives and targets, and provide advice to the Director & General Manager on setting the following year’s objectives and targets.
• Organize and chair the annual Business management systems review meeting.
• Develop Corporate SHEQ Objectives & Targets and chair Services Corporate executive meeting to review Objectives and Targets
SHEQ Trainings
• Develop Corporate IMS training matrix and monitor the implementation of trainings across all contracts
• Organize centralized external HSE trainings as per contractual and local authority requirements
• Measure business unit and assigned site(s) HSEQ compliance and implementation levels and provide detailed reports to senior management
• Identify and communicate HSEQ relevant international, GCC, and Qatar laws and regulations, and provide advice on the specific requirements within the department and business unit and assigned site(s) legal register to enable compliance.
• Conduct investigations (in accordance with procedural requirements) and document HSEQ incidents providing detailed reports
• Complete the compliance review of the HSE Management System against the OSHAD, making changes as necessary and submit for approval.
• Monitor the applicable compliance requirements and update HSE management systems as per DM/OSHAD and QCS requirements.
• Collect internal feedbacks on the integrated management systems and make recommendations for development.
• Develop annual Internal IMS Audit plans to verify the compliance as per ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.
• Conduct a compliance review against ISO 55001, and develop the missing processes, procedures and records. Implement on a suitable contract and manage a successful accreditation process.
• Lead the surveillance and recertification audits with External certification bodies for our existing ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
• Review external audit reports and co-ordinate with Contract teams for effective close out actions for non-conformances.
• Support the development of a supplier management system, and conduct periodic system audits to ensure information is concurrent.
• Investigate the use of tablet technology for all SHEQ inspections and audits and reporting, and make a recommendation for a suitable system.
Reporting
• Report on Health & Safety matters relating to specialist staff, OHS performance, compliance with our legal obligations, changes to working practices and technical issues arising during contract transition.
• Prepare monthly reports on SHEQ performance across the business.
• Prepare formal quarterly reports on SHEQ performance, Objectives & Targets progress, External & Internal audit outcomes, and CAPA across the business and all functional development active
• Provide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activities

• Responsible for drilling & blasting operation, processing.
• Responsible for Drill scheduling, Drill plan, Blast plan, Charging, Surface connection, Blasting etc.
• Responsible for Controlled Blasting (Pre-splitting, line drilling etc) for maintaining Pit Slope Stability. Man power distribution.
• Even bench floor and higher excavator productivity. Reduction in Crushing and Grinding Power Consumption.
• Optimize value of mineral resources by understanding production planning. Optimize value of mineral resources by understanding production planning.
• Alternatives to conventional stemming, (Stem Plugs, aggregate stemming) for improved results.
• Higher rate of excavation necessary for Mine development.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory acts as well as rules & regulations.
• Generating monthly technical reports, cost sheet, daily & monthly performance report, maintaining documentation, statutory records, registers & returns.
• Experience in deployment and scheduling of heavy earth moving machinery mainly Shovel and Truck combination depending upon the requirement of production and other parameters like lead distance from working site to unloading area, etc.
• Ensure the Permit to Work System is implemented; approve and issue Work Permits in the work areas under my supervision.
• Inspect and monitor the place of work on a continuous basis ensuring that all procedures, safe working practices, authorization systems and permit to work system
