Responsible for Cathodic Protection Systems Services, monitoring and maintenance of all the Gas Plant's inlets Gas Transmission Systems, Process Gas lines and Water Well System Casings. Data analysis, preparation of job request from inspection indications and defects, updating the inspection document in the data center (live-link) and ensuring best value is obtained for the project including supplier base, use of internal and external resources, material selections and verification.

•Actively handling Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Integrated Corrosion Management system.
•Execution of all Preventive Maintenance Routine (PMR) associated with cathodic protection systems.
•Fixing all issues within the direct current (DC) junction boxes, positive / negative bond boxes and the DC output of the Transformer Rectifier (TRR).
•Development of Inspection Finding Reports (IFR) for all field activities.
•Ensured that all Cathodic Protection system survey reports and IFR are collated and uploaded in Live-link and PACER.
•Ensure protection integrity, analyze and interprets inspection data and make recommendations for improvements and corrective actions.
•When necessary, call on external Cathodic Protection (Vendor) to audit, advice, measure or correct technical issues within the system.
•Specification of material for installation.

Conducted kick-off and weekly progress meetings with site representative and client representatives.
•Ensured statutory, company's and client's standards are met and carried out the analysis of HSE Issues with HSE Advisors and HSE Manager. I worked with the raised purchase order for project materials, tools and consumables for construction.
•Engineering Procurement, Installation, Construction of Corrosion Protection Systems (Temporary, Permanent CP Systems and internal corrosion unit) on Nigeria Agip Oil Company Pipelines.
•Successfully supervised cathodic protection team members assisting with the system installation and testing.
•Ensured that projects are completed accurately on time and commissioned.
•Supervised technical and non-technical staff as required for successful project completion.
•Prepared validation plans for projects and orchestrated validation testing to ensure project meets specification.
•Successfully installed corrosion monitoring devices on pipelines, commissioned and decommissioned.
•Comprehensive knowledge about engineering and calculation (Design) of Temporary and Permanent Cathodic Protection System for underground pipelines, tanks and other structures in crude and gas process plant.
•Well versed with the Site Survey and Pre- design Survey for identification of Location of Anode Beds, Soil Resistivity (Geo-resistivity) Survey, E Log I Test, Stray Current Interferences, HVAC Line/OHL Crossings, AC - DC interferences, Parallelism etc.
•Good in selection of material, based on pre design survey/ soil resistivity and environmental conditions.
•Ability to interpret Design documents, determine and size both Galvanic and Impressed Current System, DC source, Transformer Rectifier and associated anode ground beds.
•Knowledgeable in preparation of bid documents and RFQ for CP Systems.
•Full knowledge of practical interpretation and application of NACE standards and International codes as related to Corrosion Engineering.
•Full knowledge of post design surveys like CIPS, DCVG, Interference testing and mitigation study.
•Understanding of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
Oversaw daily and weekly planning of site activities, processed the resistivity data for design purposes and developed the report.
•Maintained daily reports and weekly submission to the client.
•Basic understanding of Microsoft suite packs and can use GPS as well as reading maps.
•Worked in field conditions, with most work conducted outside in all types of weather
•Interfaced and monitored all the site activities along with subcontractor supervisors for the smooth running of the project.
