Resource Hunting Vendor Management and Recruitment - The entire process of recruitment is monitored. The duties consist of job posting, hiring, conducting recruitment exams (if any) and interviewing. Functions of a human resource to maintain excellent professional relations with the educational institutions and recruitment agencies.
Induction on Boarding, Orientation and Training, Coaching the Employees - Training the employees. The principles of change management can be adequately applied to help the firm reap rich benefits.
Motivation and Performance Appraisal - Sessions and lectures that keep the employees aware about the growing competition in the market and the need to constantly upgrade the skills of the employees. The performance of employees is constantly monitored over a monthly or yearly basis and rewards, gifts, and prizes are distributed for exceptional performances.
Salary and Payroll Negotiations - Though salary related issues are a responsibility of the accounts department, still in the initial stages of recruitment, I handle the salary issues of an employee, before recruiting a person the process to evaluate the employees, he/she should be more efficient about their ability, experience, and skills of the employee, therefore, he/she is requited in the company. Generally, working in collaboration with the accounts department in salary related issues and negotiating with them in regards to the new hires.
Employee Satisfaction and Feedback Employee Engagement activities - The employees satisfied with the facilities of the firm? Any issues that are causing unrest among the employees? There may be differences in ideas/opinions of the various employees. All such matters related to employee satisfaction are handled by me. The principles of conflict resolution can be used to resolve differences among the employees. Having fun at work will increase team building, bring togetherness, relieve stress and make the employee emotionally attached to the work place and at the end of the day will reduce attrition. However, coming up with a cost effective engagement activity every month is a challenging aspect for employers and at the same time many companies have to cut down the cost for lavish holiday camps, festival celebrations and annual family get-together. Employee engagement activities are absolutely essential when the employers want their employees to truly engage in what they do. I am always open to bringing in ideas.
