Allocate and maintain binning locations in the company stores and ensuring the RUSADA Inventory Control system updates are maintained to this effect.
• Follow the company procedures, set-up and control shelf lives applicable to aircraft parts on the RUSADA system.
• Maintains shift activity and hand-over shift.
• Control all issues and receipts of materials within the technical stores and ensure the Rusada system transactions are maintained, thus reflecting an accurate stock situation at all times.
• Carry out stock checks as directed by the Planning & Production engineer and Stores Inspector.
Assist with logistics arrangements for parts delivery to aircraft.
• Controls the store quarantine areas.
• Carries out daily environmental checks in storage areas to ensure correct storage conditions are maintained.
• Ensures specific storage requirements are satisfied and keeps necessary records.
• Identifies and controls any required packing materials and maintains ATA 300 standards for aircraft parts going on repair.
• Supervision with the loading and unloading of aircraft spares
• Ensures Health and Safety regulations are maintained and
adhered to in all areas of technical stores.
Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory
accuracy checks
Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately
according to company procedure.
Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when
required.
Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for
whatever reason are chased and followed up until received.
Provide routine management information on inventory performance
i. Monitor and evaluate consumables usage & costs
ii. Monitor & evaluate material utilization and scrap
Handling AOG requests out of hours
Assisting the materials department in the purchase repair and warranty control cycle of Parts throughout the company
Liaising with maintenance organizations in relation to all material issues when aircraft are on maintenance
Supporting stores as required
Maintain and Organize Parts on shelf’s
Maintain and organize the storage of special parts such as hazard parts
Maintain and organize material demands and deal with them upon Priority
Receiving items, stored it, servicing hanger, issuing items
