Handles all aspects of a portfolio of adversely rated credit relationships for the purpose of preserving loan principal, collecting interest, and preventing loans from being charged off. The incumbent facilitates and develops action plans for the restructure, litigation, recovery, or exit strategy for downgraded credits to minimize exposure, mitigate risks and maximize asset recovery. Providing an objective and independent assessment of classified exposures (including corporate loans, structured products and traded products and the like). Works to formulate strategies to maximize recoveries through restructuring, bankruptcy and/or sale criticized/classified exposures and portfolios. Provides proper and timely reporting to management according to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
