Billion US Dollars including additional two similar Power Plants also in Egypt.
* Serves as a Senior Piping Technical Field Advisor Engineer with ability to work effectively as part of a
team or independently with minimal oversight and support the Piping Construction Activities in both
simple & combined cycles.
* Support to report on the progress of construction (construction diary & daily report)
* Participation in acceptance/identifying open points remaining in the form of system inspections.
* Control of construction and assembly documentation (only red-marks and / or site-generated documents)
on the content and completeness.
* Reporting discrepancies occurring design errors / collisions for initiating the project-specific solution.
* Attending progress meetings with suppliers, installation companies and Siemens site management.
* Planning and participation in acceptance testing (e.g. pressure testing) of supplies and services from
subcontractors.
* Complete or random (spot) checks of welds, inspections and assessments in accordance with the
pipework contract, the applicable codes, standards and specifications and QA/QC procedures in
coordination with QA/QC Engineers.
* Participation on System / ECC Walk Downs to verify system installation according to requirements.
* Record incomplete installation (List of Open Points).
* Punching System and/or Loop Wise generating final Punch List in coordination with QC.
* Pipe Balancing / Ensuring stress-free connections

The Project: ERC Petrochemical Refinery Plant, at Mostord, Cairo, Egypt with about $4.2 Billion
USD Budget.
* Responsible of all Piping Works of Area 2-2: Unit #80 (SRU/TGTU) & Unit #25 (SWS/ARU) & the
Key Person of all Piping Team at Area 2 of the ERC Plant.
* Responsible of all Concession Requests, RFI’s, Transmittals & Letters of Technical Queries from
Subcontractors, Vendors & Client for all Area 2 Piping Work.
* Supervision/Monitoring all subcontractors’ site activities.
* Verify all material specifications with material coordinators prior to deliver for fabrication.
* Review the drawings through 3D Modeling (PDMS) & ZWCAD. Revise the drawings and check all
material take off.
* Ensure that Sub-contractors’ construction are working within his discipline adhere strictly to the latest
Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures and Site
Instructions.
* Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries
and tools applicable to his/her particular discipline and area of work.
* In conjunction with the contractors’ supervision, planning engineers and the Construction Engineer,
* Develop detailed daily and weekly work plans in accordance with the overall planning schedule.
* Inform the Discipline Superintendent on specific areas where the situation needs to be adjusted in
accordance with site conditions and material deliveries.
* Review the received drawings P&ID, GA, Isometrics, Above/Underground piping.
* Monitoring the Fabrication shop activities via daily productivity report.
* Attending meetings with the Sub-Contractors for reviewing progress & forecasting schedule & work
force status.

Totally In-charge of projects execution at Khalda-Razzak site of Apache-Khalda Company (The
Former of BP-GUPCO Company) and executing several jobs at El-Hamra Oil Company site,
West Desert, Egypt.
* Assisting as a QC welding Inspector when needed (VT - RT - PT - MT - UT).
* Supervision of labor through Site Engineers, Welding Inspectors and Foremen to maximize
productivity and achieve schedule target.
* Handling all site work technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems,
including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
* Preparing a resolution for the Field changes, planning of work & Responsible for materials follow up
for continuous supply and smooth fabrication as well as field welds.
* Preparing necessary documentation for the work completion and approved it by Client.
* Attending daily meetings with the Owner’s project management team & Designer for progress
following-up & modifications plus coordination of new construction projects.
* Dealing with Sub-contractors for all activities & arrangements.
* Making a Quantity Surveying of all works and get approved Invoices then by Client.
* Participating in Estimation, Planning and Budgets with the Department Manager at HQ Office.
