Audit Manager
Yemen is now at another crucial milestone; the Constitution Drafting. The Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) was established on March 8, 2014
The CDC is composed of 17 members of constitutional, legal and expertise of relevance such as gender and human rights that has been mandated to draft Yemen's new constitution; a constitution that meets the aspirations and hopes of the people of Yemen.
This draft constitution will be submitted to the National Authority for monitoring the implementation of the NDC outcomes to ensure its compliance and adherence to NDC outcomes.
responsibilities
• Organize and oversee internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, and managing a team of auditors.
• Implement a pre audit of all transactions if possible in accordance with the audit plan.
• Oversee the review process then make any necessary recommendations to change policies, implement new systems or even change employee roles and team structures.
• Work directly with the NDS Secretary General (write reports) and work closely with the Finance Manager.
• Ultimately helps NDS Management fulfil their obligations to international and government compliance.
• Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions
• Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the NDS financial plans and make other related departments/units adhere to the best practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
• Supervise the external auditor performance and keep a record of its activities.
• Supervise the settlement and clearance of the governmental grant to NDS.
