Set all inventory & warehouse processes.

Data cleansing, Material Standardization & Data Enrichment.

Cataloging materials using Category, Sub-category, Material group, Noun, Modifier, UOM, Attributes, Property....etc.

Link Spares to its Asset using BOM.

Identification of Duplicate Items.

Define Obsolete and Dormant (Dead) Stock for better utilization.

Set Inventory KPI'S i.e. Service level, Availability, Inventory Value, Turn Over.....etc. for proper monitoring.

Assign inventory min, max levels using historical and maintenance parameters.

Define Safety Stock for critical items as protection against demand/ lead time variations.

Periodic Review of Inventory Movements to get the Optimum ROP (When to order) & Optimum EOQ (Economic Order Qty)(How much to order)

Classify Materials as ABC according to their Criticality, Value & Movements.
1- Slow moving, fast moving & non-moving.
2- High value, intermediate value, law value.
3- Critical, Semi-critical & Non-critical.

Improve the Service Level for Critical, Semi-Critical and Non Critical items.

Prepare all physical count sheets to correct all discrepancy and have correct records.

Centralize ordering i.e. creating Purchase Requisitions for all plants to avoid duplicates and combine the shared (common) spares to reduce PR No. & PO cost.

Distribution control through multi channels.

Demand control for multi channels.

Forecasting plan for future demand using 3 different approaches to get the optimum appropriate forecast.

Accomplishments:
1- Decrease slow & non-moving stock by year 2012 from 19 Millions to 16 millions.

2- As we centralize the re-ordering across affiliates, Purchase Requisitions number decreased in 2012 from 5095 to 3562 in 2013 i.e. decreased by 30%

3- Service Level for critical items increased by 2.5% by year 2013 compared to year 2012

4- By conducting Min Max periodic review, we save 2 Millions in year 2013 compared to year 2012

5- By Transferring/ distributing spares across affiliates based on movements i.e. from slow or non-moving in one affiliate to fast moving in another affiliate, we save 1 Million in 2014

6- Create Inventory Module in excel as per company activity. Thus, you don't need to purchase high costly systems like Sap or Oracle to monitor your inventory but rather, you can utilize excel program features for all inventory transactions like; demand monitoring, inventory levels calculations, correct inventory records, develop formulas for any new requirements...etc.

The main achievement I can describe it in one word.
I made a ((control)) on the supply chain management.
