Successfully managed contractor’s tendering of suppliers and subcontractors’ bid packages (over 500 packages)

Assess prequalification applications (over 1000 applications) submitted by the tenderers and respond to Contractor requests for their invitation to bid

Participate in reviewing tender documents and ensure that these documents are accurate, well disciplines coordinated, and complete before floating to market

Attends bid opening sessions and reviews the received proposals and prepares a technical assessment report and provides recommendations to the Client covering both technical and financial aspects

Review project procurement plan aligning with project time schedules starting tender documents preparation until delivery of goods, and advise the contractor on delivery slippages and mitigation plan

Develop project procurement manual and workflow flowcharts and review templates for reports and forms proposed by the contractor

Establish a bidding review methodology outlining procedures to be followed to assure the quality of the bidding process and the best practice in carrying out the Supervision Services

Supports the Project Manager/Project Director in arriving at decisions on issues related to tendering strategy and procurement process

Prepare quality checklists and provide them to the contractor to assure and maintain a proper quality of submittals.

Participates in the weekly procurement and management meetings and competently communicates with all stakeholders

Review project quality plan and coordinates the amending and updating of standard project procedures to meet specific project and contractual requirements and to bring about improved methods of working

Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI), more than 45 indicators, prepare matrices to measure contractor performance on various aspects of project management (Engineering, Execution, Quality, Procurement, etc..), and issue monthly KPI reports, reporting on trends and issues of concerns

Develops Audit Schedule and conduct Quality Internal Audits to determine whether quality activities and related results comply with the procedural requirements and to monitor enhancement in performance since previous Audit findings

Carried out contract administration tasks, prepare correspondence, review managerial submittals, prepare projects organization charts, deployment plans, and staff pre-approval forms

Prepare monthly project quality index PQI and point out strengths and weaknesses to maintain performance

•Monitoring and inspecting the work of contractors and other third parties

•Responsible for inspecting prestressed concrete activities such as threading, swaging, checking tendon profiles and details of dead and live ends

•Responsible for stressing activities for post-tension beams such as preparing stressing report, checking the instrument and site condition before starting stressing, taking actions to solve any problem during stressing procedure, checking the stressing result by lift-off test, and grouting procedure.

•Responsible for resolving any issues and problems arising onsite, offering expert inputs, closing out any possible gaps and addressing any unforeseen risks

•Execute the work as field engineer consultant and making sure all the construction activities meet quality standards and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements

•Monitoring safety protection measures & reporting on any site violations or hazards/incidents

•Communicating and liaising effectively with all disciplines, colleagues, contractors and subcontractors to ensure the implementation of their requirement

•Monitoring the site errors, and make recommendations to stop their reoccurrence

•Inspecting project sites to monitor progress and ensure the proper implementation and conformance to design specifications and completion in stipulated time with quality.

•Prepare and submit site daily comments to the contractor and advise on civil engineering issues

•Prepare and submit daily report and daily Autocad drawings to show the progress of the project

• 3D Modeling and Analysis (Seismic, Wind, DL, LL and Temperature)

• Design structural systems (building frame system) and structural elements such as mat and isolated foundation, slab on grade, core walls, circular columns, solid slabs, ramps, drop and embedded beams, water tanks, retaining walls, expansion joints, corbels, bearing pads

• Assist in the preparation of Design guide line

• Prepare detailed calculation reports to justify the design process and adopted reinforcement according to Euro Code

• Prepare and supervise Structural drawings generation from schematic phase to design phase to construction drawings

• Quantity Surveying for concrete works
