The Information Systems Manager is responsible for providing a wide range of Information to Water Supply line managers and acting as a focal point of for anything related to Water Supply Information (WAPP/WADI, Water Distribution, Quality, Water Payments) and pushing the department information to higher levels of flexibility and ease of use and access to the information needed. The below functions are meant as a guide and are not exclusive of work which may need to be undertaken to meet the developing needs of the program.
Programme
- Monitoring the Water Quality information flow into the database.
- Monitoring the WAPP/WADI system and supporting documents.
- Updating the WAPP and WADI systems in case of any update i.e. Master List and Change in Standards.
- Support Deputy Manager by the Water Delivery priorities each morning.
- Support to Data Entry team, including data entry, as required
- Support investigation of WAPP / WADI daily reports.
- Management of project teams and activities in lieu of Water Supply Coordinator and Water Supply Deputy
- Supervising the water supply database team.
- Sharing the biweekly, weekly, and monthly report with the PMs for both Water Distribution block and District Level and WQ reports.
- Other programmatic support as delegated.
Reporting
- Water Supply reports of Amounts delivered
- Water quality reports, and UNICEF weekly and monthly report.
- Financial Monthly report
- CFP monthly and biweekly report
Information and communication
- Sharing information both to the various Water Supply teams
- Identifies and reports to managers of the missing data that uploaded by the WFSs.
- Maintain open dialogue with all team members, and treat all staff in a respectful way.
Database Management Office responsibilities will include :
Improving the effectiveness of the database tools and services
Ensuring all the data complies with legal regulations
Making sure the information is protected and backed-up
Regular reporting to the Water Supply teams you work with
Monitoring database performance
Improving the technology used
Building new databases
Monitoring data entry procedures
Troubleshooting
Field Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
Field coordinators typically carry out the following duties:
Schedule Work
Creating and managing work schedules is a core responsibility for field coordinators and may include organizing routes for individual field visits to the districts throughout Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees
Perform Inspections
Prior to the start of work, field coordinators may visit Camp Districts to verify the work to be performed. Once work has commenced, they sometimes remain at the job site or frequently visit to ensure sufficient staffing levels, on-time delivery of materials, and the overall quality and performance of work according to project specifications.
Manage Suppliers
Working with dispatchers or directly with suppliers, field coordinators are responsible for the timely delivery and installation of the materials necessary for field work. This includes verifying supply orders and specifications, ordering materials or equipment i.e. Pens papers smartphones internet availabity and any other digital devices needed i.e. GPS device, and inspecting orders for completeness.
Create Reports
Field coordinators are responsible for the timely completion of work orders and field progress reports. They may also generate project reports summarizing field worker hours, service technician utilization rates, and productivity metrics.
Manage Safety
A critical element of field service activities is the safety of all workers. Field coordinators ensure compliance with Camp Safety Instructions . This includes inspecting protective work gear and other equipment used by field workers, coordinating safety training, communicate with the security officer.
Communicate with Clients
Field coordinators interact with clients and receive feedback regarding the quality of work performed by field service workers.
For a project called REACH; Supervising a team consisting of 4 people, those 4 people are in charge of counting all Syrian families in Mafraq and Irbid and fill an assessment for each family.
Computer Center at Hashemite University is the source of providing IT services to all university departments ( Hardware, Software, Networks, and etc ).
in Addition to controlling data flow throughout the whole network, and providing data backup and security.
I graduated from Electrical and Computer Engineering Department as Computer Engineer for 5 years.
