• Review electrical plans and specifications to verify compliance with local building codes,
national electrical standards, and all other applicable regulations.
• Ensure the electrical design adheres to safety standards and aligns with the specific
requirements of the project.
• Perform on-site inspections throughout the construction process to verify that electrical work
is carried out according to the approved plans.
• Verify the correct installation of wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, etc.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with safety standards to prevent hazards like electrical
shocks, fires, and other potential risks.
• Coordinate effectively with inspectors, contractors, and project managers to support a smooth
construction process.
• Resolve issues or concerns regarding electrical work and coordinate required adjustments.
• Guide the team in all aspects, ensuring quality work and assurance activities.
• Lead quality training sessions for electrical systems, including LV panels, DBs, SMDBs, fire
systems, BMS, and access control systems.

➢ Construction Department:
• Commissioning new substations, indoor and outdoor.
➢ Maintenance Department:
• Identifying and attending to all faults and issues that arise in equipment.
➢ Condition Monitoring Department:
• Infrared (IR) test: to detect high temperatures (hotspots).
• Partial discharge test (interior & exterior): to detect leakage currents.
• Visual check: for any oil leakages or abnormal meter readings.
• Clamp test: To detect the amount of current going in cables and detect overloads on specific
phases.
➢ Protection Department:
• Confirm that the Current transformer (CT) and Voltage transformer (VT) work properly.
• Trip test, to test the protection equipment on HV and LV side.
• Set the proper timing for each type of fault.
• Perform visual inspections and ensure all the relay wires are fastened.
