My first job related to my academic field. I did theoretically
everything that has to do with payables and I often did receivables
and helped in payrolls. I have a good overview on the types of
taxes done, like the monthly vat settlement and yearly profit/loss
tax declaration and know some details on how and when they’re
done according to German law. I also made payment transfers and
imported bank statements into the system. I knew how to take
advantage of handy functions for analysis, reports, automatic
postings, and other configurations on the ERP system we worked
on. In addition, I did Amazon Vendor analysis for open invoices.
Tools used include Microsoft Dynamics Navision.

I learned a lot about the travel industry and got a brief idea on
how things operate between a travel service provider and a travel
agency and between the agency and hotels and the policies of
each.
