1. Ensure that all works are carried out according to drawings and specifications.
2. Enforce health and safety procedures on site.
3. Contract management and responding to letters pertained to contractual issues.
4. Review and approve the monthly payments of the contractors.
5. Review and approve the project schedule.
6. Review and approve time and cost impact of variation orders.
7. Review and settle the claims raised by the contractors.

1. Development of planning and scheduling tools to monitor, control and report the project’s status.
2. Identification of milestones to support the project’s schedule, including identification of the
contractual milestones.
3. Identification of interfaces between contractors working on site, and co‐ordination of the work
sequence within the total project plan.
4. Development of quantity releaser or installation curves for all commodities and review quantity logs
to ensure all quantities are represented.
5. Identification of the critical paths/activities and monitor schedule deviations that delay supporting the
national grid.
6. Review, evaluation, and settlement of claims raised by the contractors working on site.
7. Time and price evaluation for extra work required to be performed by the contractors as change
notices.
8. Preparation of cost estimates and preliminary schedules as part of studies to construct new power
projects.
9. Participation in preparing the bidding and contract documents.
10. Preparation of schedule, manpower, and quantity progress and performance reports on weekly and
monthly basis.
1. Preparation of project cost reports and cost forecasts.
2. Development of all planning and scheduling tools to be used in control, monitoring and reporting of project status.
3. Identification of milestones to support project schedule, including identification of contractual milestones.
4. Identification of inter-discipline restraints or interfaces which define activity sequences and work with the performing organizations and units to coordinate work sequences within total project plan.
5. Development of quantity releaser or installation curves for a specific work discipline and review quantity logs to ensure total quantities are represented for each discipline.
6. Identify critical path activities for work area and/or work disciplines and monitor schedule deviations and proposes corrective action/work around solutions.
7. Preparation of schedule, manpower, and quantity progress and performance reports.
8. Ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
9. Monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking and agreeing the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the subcontract and at completion of the work.
10. Formulate change orders to existing subcontracts for change in scope and / or pricing.
11. Review and settlement of any claims as may be raised by subcontractors.
12. Preparation of change orders to the prime contract.
13. Preparation and settlement of claims raised in the prime contract with the Employer.
14. Respond to the Employer’s letters that is pertained to contractual and delay issues.
1-Reviewing the plans and the specifications of the project.
2-Conducting inspection for the work undertaken on site on a daily bases to make sure its conformance to the drawings and specifications.
3-Submitting method statements to the consulting engineer for approval.
4-Perform all testing required under the technical provisions of the specifications.
5-Daily reporting to the quality control manager and project manager for the quality activities undertaken and the deficiencies noticed on site and their follow-up.
6-Attending weekly quality meeting with the consulting engineer and the construction management consultants.
7-Replying on the Job Site Notices and Non Compliance Notices issued by the consulting engineer to prevent deductions to take place on our monthly invoice payments.
1-Managing different resources and subcontractors to perform different activities at the job site that I’m responsible of.
2-Coordination with other engineers for efficient use of resources.
3-Reporting a weekly progress report to the construction manager.
4-A daily report to the construction manager that determines the equipment, number of labor and materials used every day.
5-Participating with the technical office in submitting shop drawings to the consulting engineer when needed.
