As head of creative services in SAWA Media, I’ve worked as a writer, director, editor, graphic and motion graphic designer for various projects. I also developed the logistical backbone for SAWA Media’s Digital Brand Integration services:
• Directed and developed Promos for SAWA and their partners
• Produced music for usage in promotional materials
• Designed a cloud-based framework for DBI production
• Created DBI protocols, flowcharts, and client guides
• Designed presentations for pitching DBI to global TV networks
Founder and Editor of 6DOF Reviews, a website (and associated YouTube Channel) dedicated to coverage of standlone Virtual Reality, and featuring reviews, developer inter- views, general features.
I am a videographer, photographer, video editor, writer, and musician. Some jobs I have tackled entirely on my own, and for others I have led teams. I have done video documentary work (direction/editing/soundtrack) for Transparency International, and the International Labor Organization, Mansour Holdings, and others, and have also done Photography and Graphic Design work for Metro Markets, Giggles Clothing, and for various actors and celebrities, as well as product and corporate photography.
As a partner and producer in Kayan Media Productions, I wrote scripts for television spots, documentaries and corporate videos. I also sometimes directed, shot, and edited materials as well as produced music soundtracks for the videos we produced. During this time, I did work for Mansour Holdings, Coca-Cola, The Ministry of Health, The Ministry of Education, and various others.
I conceptualized, designed, developed, and create content for Egypt Art Link; a web site designed to serve as a hub for the Egyptian arts community.

As a freelancer, I've created web sites for various clients, and at some point under contract for the Way Out, for whom I was a Senior Web Designer.
I have also done various graphic design work for Digital Living, Bang and Olufsen.
I've also written editorials, brochures, and copy for various companies and magazines, Insight, Mansour Foods, etc..
Spent time working with the now defunct Yaaru Theatre Company. During this time I acted in various theatrical sketches - mostly improvised. I also wrote music for the troupe, created designs for it, and shot and edited some of the work on Mini DV.
Spent a year and a half working at a.r.t. in Italy. Spent some of that time as a transmission supervisor, in charge of an Italian technical staff of about 12 people. Was in charge of making live directorial decisions.
Worked as a video editor for some time, during which I produced countless promotional trailers for movies, and edited some programs for the music channel.
Besides majoring in Psychology, I took many courses in various seemingly unrelated fields. I spent perhaps far too much time in the library and on the then text-only internet. Acquired much information about various unrelated topics.
High School in Qatar. Doha College is where I got my GCE's.
