My Bachelor’s degree in Business Management has provided me the platform and basis to understand the current market and meet the requirements of a given business as well as its customers’.
I have had the opportunity to practise and develop my skills during my Intern-ship at Edamah (Mumtalakat) where I developed a project and solely organized a team to carry it forward (Bab Market at Bab Al Bahrain mall) which has demonstrated my effective project delivery skills. The project was highly successful and Edamah has carried on with it till date. I was also responsible for creating financial and progress reports for the head of the team (Mrs. Nadeen), overseeing construction on stalls and hiring vendors at the Bab Market.
During my time in India, I was given the opportunity to work with local and international ministers, commonwealth offices and embassies such as the Embassy of Palestine and the Embassy of USA to plan and organize diplomatic events. I have also worked between two companies (Mumtalikat & Edamah) as the sole mediator and helped them achieve common goals while my current position at Mobiliauno provides me the opportunity to work with Local Ministers in Bahrain as we are going through the process of invitations for upcoming events. This exposure with Embassies, Ministries and organizations has honed my internal as well as external communication and influencing skills.
Throughout my time with Edamah, I was given training and instructed to highlight and report any irregularities to maintain the standard for quality control to the Mother Company: Mumtalakat. This was also followed up recommended solutions which have helped me develop a strong base for my problem solving skills. All my combined work experience has given me the exposure to not only the operational but also the administrative aspects of a job where I have prepared and maintained invoices, payment requisitions and receipts, meeting requests and agendas. I have also further developed my time-management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines whilst maintaining the set quality.
