• Deploying Oracle 11gR2 infrastructure including 8 RAC and 8 single nodes in linux platforms (redhat and SUSE). Upgrading Oracle databases to 11gR2 databases in existing AIX infrastructures for mission critical services.
• Supporting upgrades for DB2 databases from db2 v9.1 to db2 v9.5 and db2 v9.7, Oracle Application Servers 10gR1 and 10gR2 to Oracle Middleware Fusion 11gR2 and engineering critical patch update (CPU) and patchsets against Oracle and fix packs against db2 and service pack against MS SQL. Built patches sheet for bugs.
• Increasing high availability of Call Center service by re-engineering the DB2 database infrastructure by separating the infrastructure of Central province and eastern province call centers.
• Migrating Oracle, db2, MS Sql databases to consolidated environments to reduce the cost and administration complexity as well as shifting databases from old Clarion SAN (Thik LUNS) to new VMAX SAN (Thin LUNS).
