Working as a Mechanical Engineer in GRADE 12 for Transco (ADWEA group of Co) in the water transmission division for the maintenance of 19 pumping stations located from Abu Dhabi to Al Khatim area.
• A broad experience in the maintenance of large capacity centrifugal pumps, hydraulic couplings, gas chlorination plants, sodium hypochlorite generation plants, compressors, Butterfly valves, flow control valves, pressure sustaining valves, piping system, reservoirs--- etc.
• Follow up water projects at the pumping stations with the Consultant and the Contractor such as technical specification, installations, commissioning, PAC, snag list, FAC, -----etc.
• Familiar with the preparation of spare parts for the equipments, carry out complete material management system for the equipments (purchase requisitions, contract requisitions, material requisitions--- etc.) using Maximo Programmed.
• Prepartion of annual preventive maintenance prgrame for all equipments, carry out all corrective maintenance to keep the equipment in healthy status.
• Preparation of Annual Budget and budget control .
• Technical evaluations for all mechanical equipment’s and finalizing purchase requests.
• Technical evaluations for all mechanical equipment’s and finalizing mechanical contracts for water pumping stations.
• Follow up all the new and extension projects that come up from time to time as per ADWEA specifications.
• Replacing Zonal Manager during leave period for total administration of a crew of 60 persons.
• Carry out in house training for the newly inducted staff ( local and expatriates).
• Member of the technical team for Material inspection, interview board etc.
Missions
1. Japan(2007) -- Torishima pumps factory (Inspection for 2 pumps with hydraulic couplings-Voith for Um-Al Nar-B water pumping station).
2. Croatia (2004) - Pre-Qualification for valves factory .
3. Indian (2005) - Pre-Qualification for valves factory .
4. Egypt (2001) -- interviews for selecting mechanical staff for Transco (Engineers & Technician).
1980 - 1985 Worked as a Mechanical Engineer with contracting Company for installation and maintenance of potable water pumping stations (in Egypt).
1986 - 1990 Management of own contracting Co. for Mechanical Engineering erection and maintenance works (in Egypt).
