Responsibilities
• Managing the total packing plants operations, maintains plant and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, safety and financial discipline.
• Guide the Managers, Supervisors and Technicians to perform maintenance activities, to increase the plant reliability and performance with the focus, of minimize production losses, achieving high plant reliability, cost saving, environmental protective and achieving high safety standards as per the company policy.
• Managing with strong knowledge of all operational functions including Production, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, Cost, Customer service and Performance.
• Controlling the plants reliability, spare parts ordering, budget & engineering projects as well as focusing on achieving the yearly business KPIs.
• Ensures that the finished products plans are achieved by reviewing daily output & solve the issues with the concerned Department.
• Supervise preparing work schedules for Condition Monitoring & Planned Maintenance & Shutdowns.
• To identify and organize plant replacement when required.
• Managing the plants operation & maintenance Managers and the whole staff effectively, with particular emphasis on Productivity, Maintenance, Effective Communication, Training, Safety and Continuous Improvement.
• CAPEX & OPEX budgets control.
• Works safely at all times. Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean & hygienic.
• Projects, looking after the integration of new equipment into existing plant. This included process and structural planning, installation, rehabilitation, maintaining and commissioning of related equipment.

Responsibilities
The role objective is to plan to produce the required products on time & control the execution by monitoring & analyzing the cost, utilization & allocation of production resources to satisfy customer requirements in the most efficient and effective way.
Lead, Support, advise, coach and direct Maintenance & Production Planning team members in the achievement of agreed objectives and prescribed core standards and Producing optimal Maintenance and production and material plans across the sites covering both short and long term requirements.
Set up manufacturing business plans in cooperation with strategic planning unit and manufacturing.
Report on manufacturing related KPIs to management and leadership team and follow upon business plan progress.
Formulate & implement policies & procedures for all key processes like production, maintenance, quality & safety complying with HSE, GMP, QMS and food safety requirements.
Supervise staff, evaluate performance, identify training needs, develop skill matrix based development plans and provide effective development training to personnel.
Implement operation & maintenance budget, identify cost saving opportunities including waste elimination and drive programs to improve plant profitability.
Collaborate with other departments and contribute to the execution of the overall business plan achieving all corporate goals & objectives

Recommend and implement changes to streamline unit of measure for the Raw and Packaging Materials to improve the internal control.
Responsibilities
Develop production schedules MPS, identifying detailed Material requirements MRP, manpower requirements to ensure production targets of the company are met.
Prepare the production planning boards, communicating with internal production and support functions to manage the plan in an efficient, effective and customer centric manner.
Ensure all data is entered accurately into the company’s information system ERP in accordance with company’s Work Order processes and procedures (Manufacturing Control).
Directly interface in Sales & Operations S&OP with Sales, finance, operations, purchasing, stores and human resources in the development and execution production plan.
Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required ensuring a smooth running of operations.
Establish KPI’s performance metrics, goals and performance evaluation processes in line with corporate policy. The individual and department goals should be aggressive, achievable and in line with corporate strategy.

Responsible for Dry Food Packaging (Milk Powder, Sugar, Lipton CTC Tea, Lentils)
Oversee production processes and draw up production schedules. Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
Monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality and manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals. Monitor product standards and implementing quality control programs.
Promote quality initiatives and encourage staff participation in quality improvement
schemes such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000.
Ensure that production processes are cost effective. Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management
process and best practices. Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned downtime hours.
Implement systems of preventive maintenance of equipment and machines.
Working out material resources required together with the materials and planning team.
Conduct regular reviews on manpower and material utilization to maximize usage and minimize wastage.
Ensure production staff is systematically trained for various tasks on-the-job or via external training courses.
Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives. Supervising and motivating a team of workers and reviewing the performance of subordinates.
Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
Document best practices in production methods and implement the adoption of the best practices among production personnel.
Responsible of the UHT Line ( Milk & Juice ):
Monitors production operations for efficiency and safety; ensures all applicable regulatory requirements are met and followed.
-Oversees supervisory staff of day and night shifts assigned to production department, production workers and safety coordinators.
-Assists in evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures. Recommends changes when necessary and assists in implementation of new processes.
-Oversees the daily activities of the plant, workflow and worker schedules, instructing supervisory staff as appropriate. Checks production schedule daily. Notifies QC, Supervisors, On-sites and HR of any changes.
-Walks the plant daily. Observes supervisor and employee performance to ensure good work habits and good safety habits are followed. Coaches Supervisory staff and other persons as appropriate in case of unsafe/unacceptable practices.
-Participates in weekly employee general meetings. Participates in evening production meetings.
-Partners with Human Resources and on-site staffing services regarding personnel issues, hiring and termination.
Maintenance & Trouble Shootings:-
Assist maintenance staff in performing the maintenance and repair job.
Carry out routine checks on machinery as by operating manual.
Able to trouble shoot.
Supervision
Responsible for the correct raw materials used on his production line.
Ensure sufficient supply of raw materials for each machine in a timely manner
Where required.
Operate efficient wastage control for all raw materials.
Organize efficient start-up and shutdown procedures where required.
Supervise production line operation with high efficiency and labor control.
House Keeping
Responsible for the supervision of the cleanliness of the production areas .
Maintain personal hygiene standards.
Training and Development
Provide guidance to a team of production machine operators and assistance.
Ability to train personal and provide direction

Collate and supply data to facilitate preparation of daily /monthly production and
Productivity reports.
Compile shift production log.
Report any machinery malfunction to the maintenance engineer or electrical
Engineer.
Team enhancement
Operate as part of the plant team to ensure meeting the set production targets.
Responsible for a team of skilled workers working in laying telephone cables, pipes laying, poles erection and construction of reinforced concrete structures.
Managed all aspects of workplace safety including inspections to identify & correct unsafe conditions, prevent unsafe actions, execution of hazard identification & risk assessed to assure safety of personnel & assets.
