My current responsibilities include but are not limited to;
 Managing sub-vendors for problem management ensuring customer’s SLA.
 Ensuring rapid response and tracking trouble tickets till their timely resolution following Huawei’s agreed strict SLAs with the customer.
 Planning network cluster upgrades to latest available SW releases and conducting Acceptance Test Procedures before implementation.
 Planning and managing Change Requests related to the relevant domains (including Fault-fix, Emergency, and Planned CRs).
 Assisting planning teams (Data Services, IBS, Business, Network Security) in conducting pre and post-implementation testing for network-wide planned changes.
 Preparing and sharing daily health-check and performance management reports for ensuring network’s stability and taking pro-active actions, if required.

 Technologies worked on:
 Public WiFi Solution: du’s WiFi hotspots extensively available in several public locations such as Malls, Metro Stations, Restaurants, Hospitals etc.
 Alcatel-Lucent's Femto Small Cell Solution: ALU’s Virtual RNC (BSR GW), Brick Firewall 1200HS, AAA/ALSMS, Motive’s Home Device Manager (5580 HDM) and various Small Cell models. Worked on the project since the inception till final BCR3.0 release upgrade and day-to-day operations.
 AAA Frontend & Database Servers for Fixed Line Subscribers: EliteCore and Ericsson’s NetOp Frontend & Database Servers for Fixed subscribers.
 WLAN Services in Dubai Metro Project: Nomad Digital's Communication System (Cisco 6509 Switches, Home Agents, Fleet Managers & DBs).

Team Lead, Wireless Technologies at Global Technical Support, NSN à Nokia Siemens Networks

 Leading a team consisting of 10 subject matter experts performing a 12-hrs shift operation for more than 30 accounts in 27 countries contracted to NSN’s Global Technical Support for Wireless Technologies level-2 support.
 Risk/impact analysis of new product features and customer proposals. Supervising testing of new and existing SW loads in regional lab environment for troubleshooting common issues and problem management.
 Responsible for maintaining service level agreements with the Customers around the globe as well as reviewing the Technical Incident Reports for outages.
 Acting as liaison between worldwide local Network Accounts and level-3 Development teams in Swindon, Chicago, India and China.
 Carrying out internal team meetings and consulting the product development teams for speedy recovery of the issues being faced.
 Technologies worked on: IP Access, WiFi, WiMAX & pre-WiMAX PTP, PTMP links.

 Fulfilled the role of Technical Support Engineer for regional accounts under Motorola regional support (Wateen and Wi-Tribe).
 Responsible for pro-active problem detection and network KPI improvements while being an integral part of the regional Rapid Response Team.
 Acted as a shift lead for NOC working in 24x7 shift operations and conducted knowledge sharing sessions with the designated FO resources.
 Worked on traffic analysis tools such as Maxzilla (Motorola’s Tool), free wares such as PRTG, MRTG and CACTI to analyze and enhance performance of network elements.
 Was directly involved in upgrading the network through the initial pre-WiMAX solution to WMX2.0, WMX2.5, WMX3.0 and trial stages of WMX4.0.

 One of the first few people who were involved in integration, field and technical support for World’s first commercial WiMAX network, Wateen since its trial stage.
 Carrying out deployment of the network’s end-to-end integration according to the WiMAX standards while meeting the challenging deadlines day in and day out.
 Carrying out customer Acceptance Test Procedures for the WiMAX sites and Core (Data Center) throughout Wateen’s central and north region.
 Nationwide Phase 1 (Motorola-ULAP) & Phase-2 deployment and integration.
 ASN design finalization and deployment for Wateen. ASN included CAPC, EMS, Smart Edge router and XMR foundry switch.
 Transmission/Backhaul deployment for Sagem & NEC devices.
 Basic remote and on-site troubleshooting of Cisco provider and provider edge routers including Cisco 10720, 7609, 7613 and 12816.
 Remote and on-site Customer premises equipment support Implementing remote network parameters such as QoS implementation, ME3400 log formatting, AP up gradation, remote CPE up gradation.
