I am responsible for conducting industry analyses on a periodic and topical basis. The revision and analyses based in USGAAP, IFRS and Bloomberg’s data sets, financial models. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining relationships with internal departments and external market professionals.

I worked directly with the VP Finance and VP Engineering, improving and handling the tasks of monitoring, and maintaining the financial reports, budgets, billing, revenue recognition, cost reports and financial forecasts. I reviewed the work of the accounting staff, and financial analyst’s staff properly, works as a mentor for accountants in order to help them with accounting and analysis duties, ensure the accuracy of the financial records and the proper documentation as well. I ensured the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month and at the end of the financial year. I maintained the collaboration with the accounting department in determining the level of profitability of the company, made sure about the fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations and that the decision makers in the firm understand the financial implications of the missions, responsible for any of the financial decisions made in the firm being an ultimate authorizing entity. I approved the finances of the specific projects by the firm and responsible for the budgetary control in a specific firm; correspond with the senior management regarding any kind of financial decisions of the company.

Responsible for all the control of the Ma’aden Phosphate Project in Ras Al Zawr (K.S.A) totaling 750M. Developed forecast; budgets; scheduling; tracking quantities of production and billing quantities; change orders; control of purchases order control of risk and potential saving; reporting monthly information to headquarter; cash flow; expenses control; analysis account; analysis of variance vs. forecast and budgets; bank reconciliation; inventory control; materials purchase and fixed assets control; and subcontractor control of invoices and quantities. Participated in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities related to administration. Responsible for budget preparation and purchasing in several areas, including all office supplies; commercially printed materials; furnishings for the offices, common areas, and shift crew quarters; major office equipment; among others.

Responsible for all of the control the three projects- Route 18 totaling 145M; Driscoll Bridget totaling 102M; and Trenton Morrisville totaling 89M. Developed forecast; budgets; scheduling; tracking quantities of production and billing quantities; change orders; control of purchases order; and control of risk and potential saving. Interface between IT and Accounting for the implementation of J. D. Edwards and Peoplesoft software applications. Provided the reporting of monthly information to headquarters; P & L; A/R; A/P; cash flow; expenses control; analysis account; analysis of variance vs. forecast and budgets; bank reconciliation; inventory control; materials purchase and fixed assets control.

Primary contact for all business related to consolidation, budgeting, cash flow analysis/projections, and corporate forecasting. Implemented financial reporting system and generated detailed financial statements for support to Senior Management. Worked closely with department heads to create efficient budgets. Supervised and trained Accounting Manager, Accountants, and A/P clerk. Interfaced between IT and accounting departments in the implementation of SAP accounting packages from CMAS and AS400, ensured adherence to U.S. GAAP and company policies. Prepared detailed accounting instructions for personnel training required for company relocation. Handled all areas of finance including budgeting, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, payroll, A/P, A/R, cash flow analysis, job costing, project allocation, and audits. Prepared monthly closing, which included job costing, project allocation, forecast, and annual budget.
