Technical Responsibilities of Estimation Enginner:
• Review Contract / Tender documents for MEP package & Checking for any deficiency or ambiguities.
• Generate queries to consultants for any discrepancies or missing information from Contract documents and follow up for there updates.
• Checking the quotations and sub contract offer from suppliers with respect to specification, quantities and capacities.
• Discussing with the MENA Director about the tender and finalizing the offer price.
• Estimated for five star hotel, villas, infrastructure works, residential and commercial building, etc. ( estimated MEP value range from 2 million to 200 Million
• Verifying and checking the scope of work with respect to technical and commercial aspects and discussing with the Managing Director.
• Explaining the scope of work to Sr. Estimation Engineers & setting up the target and coordinating with them to achieve that dates.
• Following the Main tender quotations with suppliers and making sure to have all quotations on time before submission date.
• Checking the main equipment and subcontractors quotations with respect to specification, quantities and capacities.
• Negotiating for discount depending upon the size of the project with the main supplier and informing to tender review meeting
• After JOB IN HAND handing over all the tender documents to the respective Project Manager and explaining the complete scope of work and potential risks involved.
• Help procurement department in negotiations and finalizing with suppliers in the best possible payment terms.
• Able to prepare MEP offer on the basis of M² and budgetary prices to achieve deadline on fast track tenders
• Review Building Plans, drawings, specifications & ascertaining Scope of Works.
• Review the schedule of equipments & float enquiries to Vendors.
• Evaluating BOQ & Specification from drawings before pricing.
• Evaluation of Vendor's technical & commercial proposal's.
• Coordinating with other project members for all project issues and compiling MEP price.
• Preparation of Job Cost Analysis report & breakdown price for BOQ.
• Carrying out cost savings proposals to client through Value Engineering methods.
• Presentation of Final cost report with qualifications to Regional MEP Director..
