Job title: Senior Project Engineer (Project Management & Engineering consultancy)

Clients: Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) & Sudanese Electricity Transmission Company (SETCO) & Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)
Projects: Egypt and Sudan are having an interconnection link between the two power systems at the 220kV level. The requirement is to transfer maximum 300MW from Egypt to Sudan. Power transfer is to be from TOSHKA2 Substation (EETC) to WADI HALFA (SETCO) on 220kV double circuit overhead lines which required to construct DRPC/STATCOM at both ends. Two STATCOM at Sudan & one STATCOM at Egypt.
1) Construction of DRPC/STATCOM capacity of -200/+200 MVAR at Ouynat 220kv Substation Project in Egypt for the owner (EETC), SEC as a consultant, ABB as main construction contractor. Project is using VSC branch feed from 220/35.5 kv Transformers.
2) Construction of DRPC/STATCOM capacity of -150/+150 MVAR at DONGOLA & MEROWE Town 220KV Substations (at Sudan), SEC as consultant, EETC as sponsor, SETCO as end user & SIEMENS as main contractor

Certified PMP by PMI, My duties are to develop and maintain Project Execution Plan, take ownership of projects and monitor, control and manage works, which includes regular offshore visits, mange changes to project; scope, schedule and cost, Close projects & to ensure application of standards as required.

Handling EHV projects for Saudi Electricity Company i.e. Dynamic Reactive Power Compensation project JDN S/S (up to 300 MVAR, 2 units of TCR, TSC, DT Harmonic Filters, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th&9th, two 500MVA transformers & Extensions of one new GIS Bay 110kv and 13.8kv GIS) .In addition to Wadi Jalieel project (Two 110kv Capacitor Banks each 100MVAR) .Moreover, I participated in JNW 380KV substation Expansion (Adding two diameters 380kv by Alstom/GE )& HHR-1 project with Saudi Railway Organization.

Worked as maintenance & operation engineer for iron steel production utilities (substations & two DRPC/SVC units up to 180MVA on 33KV with 2nd, 3rd &4th harmonic filters, TCR, Cooling units & thyristor valves).
Responsible for testing, maintenance & operation of Circuit Breakers (vacuum), SF6 and GIS, power transformers for electric Furness (EAF & LF), current transformer- primary current injection (ODEN), Primary and secondary current injection using (SEVERKER) tester, Power quality analysis and harmonics measuring & electrical Motors up to 11MVA (compressors & blowers).

as Electrical shift Engineer in electrical station and factories (Salphuric Acid, Ammunium Sulphate, D.C.P.&Phosphate) dealing with:
1- Electrical distribution station.
2- SWITCHGEARS low & medium voltages 22KV, 6.6KV, 380V, (Siemens, Natus, Schnider).
3-Power Transformers up to 10MVA.
4-STEAM TURBINE 12MW.
5-Diesel machine 2MW.
6- Electrical Motors maintenance up to 2800kw on inverter and rectifire parallel with reactance for start up.
7-Diffrential protection with Sepam.
