Spearheading Digital Transformation: Manages and technically leads the
delivery of critical components for the prestigious Lusail Smart City project,
encompassing complete digital transformation, innovative integrated technology
solutions, and robust sustainability measures, supported by strong business
models, use cases and smart applications.
 Pioneering Smart City Platforms: Direct involvement in the planning and
deployment of the Digital City Brain and Integrated Smart City Eco-system
Platform-of-Platforms architecture, including Public Cloud and Private Cloud
Hybrid model deployments.
 Implementing AI-ML Solutions: Leads the utilization of advanced integrated
technologies, including AI-ML for city-wide operations, contributing to the
development and validation of Lusail Smart City Use Cases for revenue
generation, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
 Ensuring Robust Cybersecurity: Oversees the implementation of
comprehensive OT/ICS Cyber Security, SOC/SIEM/SOAR, and Platform
Security, ensuring compliance with NCSA requirements and national frameworks.
Driving Data & Digital Twin Initiatives: Actively contributes to the Unified Big
Data Platform, City Digital Twin and 3D modelling initiatives, including LiDAR
photogrammetry, to enhance city operations and governance.
Strategic PMCM Leadership: Provides expert-level project management,
construction management (PMCM), and technical consultancy for smart systems
and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery of complex components.

Managed design processes and reviewed design submissions for Electrical
systems, Telecom, Instrumentation & Control (SCADA/PLC, BMS), and ELV
across city-wide utilities.
 Contributed to city-wide SCADA integration studies for the new Lusail Command
and Control Center.
 Provided technical support and design review for ICS/OT Cyber Security, BMS,
and Smart City control systems integration.

Developed and issued standards, technical specifications, and FAT ITPs for
Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
 Participated in the Kingdom-wide SEC technical committee for Substation
Automation Design Optimization, significantly improving performance against
cost.

Managed compliance monitoring, assessment, and policy issuance, with a focus
on Energy Efficiency deployment.
 Prepared and presented Sudan’s first National Energy Efficiency Implementation
Plan to the Arab League.

Established and successfully operated the new Khartoum City Control Center
(SCADA/DMS).
 Played a key role in implementing the first distribution Feeder Automation (RMU
Automation) in Sudan and the region.
