I am working as a QC/QA Chemist at Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL) and have a strong command on instruments such as Karl Fischer titrator, pH meter, Conductivity meter, UV Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatograph, Flame Photometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, ICP-OES, ED-XRF Analyzer, Bomb Calorimeter, Nitrogen distillation Unit Kjeldahl Method.
1 Safety compliance in the laboratory by reviewing laboratory safety and glassware handling manuals.
2 Testing of raw materials, water and finished products by colorimetric, gravimetric, & volumetric methods.
3 Preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions.
4 Maintain inventory record of lab chemicals and reagents.
5 Proficient in all aspects of laboratory housekeeping.
6 Examined transformer oil gas sample by TOGA, and Benfield solutions of ammonia and urea plants.
7 Sampling and analysis of samples of water, lube oil, liq. NH3 and carbamate of Ammonia, DAP, Urea, and Utilities.
8 Held full accountability of analyzing DAP and Urea products, P2O5 and metallic impurities in H3PO4 samples.
9 Maintained analytical results, record book of in-process as well as finished products.
10 Achieved desired results through the proximate and ultimate analysis of coal.
11 Performed elemental analysis of limestone, sieves analysis of coal and limestone via ED-XRF.
12 Performed complete analysis of water required by the operations of fertilizer and coal power plant.
