Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Oversight:
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and adherence to accounting standards.
• Supervise daily accounting operations, including reviewing and approving purchase orders (POs) and petty cash reimbursements.
• Establish payment schedules for suppliers and follow up on accounts receivable collections.
• Provide guidance and support to operations managers on financial and operational matters. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare monthly financial packs with in-depth analysis and commentary on key financial metrics.
• Conduct a comprehensive comparison analysis of company performance, including profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet (BS), sales, and operating expenses (OPEX).
• Perform branch-wise P&L analysis and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 16.
• Manage VAT and withholding tax (WHT) declarations on a monthly basis to ensure tax compliance. Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and drive efficiency.
• Provide financial and operational data as needed to support decision-making by operations managers.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulations. Audit Engagement and Compliance:
• Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process to facilitate the issuance of audited financial statements.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervised daily operations and tasks of the accounting team.
• Assisted the financial controller in monitoring cash flow to optimize finance operations.
• Provided necessary financial-operation data to operations managers.

• Conducted comprehensive monthly comparisons of company performance, covering profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet (BS) analysis, sales analysis, and CAPEX/OPEX analysis.
• Ensured strict adherence to IFRS 16 standards.
• Prepared monthly VAT declarations in compliance with regulations.
• Managed excise tax matters and maintained direct communication with authorities.
• Led year-end audit engagements to support the issuance of audited financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
• Managed all accounting duties relating to accounts receivables and GCC sales, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Collaborated with the sales department to oversee sales forecast and budgeting processes, aligning with organizational goals.
• Contributed to the preparation of the annual master budget, incorporating sales forecasts and departmental needs.
• Monitored and reported variances between actual results and sales budget, providing insights for corrective actions.
• Calculated and recorded accruals for customers’ commissions and provisions for bad debts monthly, ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinated with distributors and country sales managers to ensure timely receivables payments.
• Conducted quarterly reconciliation analysis of statements of account with distributors, identifying discrepancies.
