Carry out all my responsibilities in receiving, triaging and treating patients of all categories of illness, ranging from simple URTI to Acute MI, PE, CVA, DKA, Acute Bronchial Asthma, Pneumonia, Scorpion sting, Snake bite, Drug Intoxication, Major and minor injuries, Road Traffic Accidents, Suturing of all types of wounds, superficial wounds and deep lacerations, Endotracheal Intubation, NGT, Foley Catheter, IV cannulation, Wound dressing, Diabetic wound care, and all cases of all types of emergency presentations.
The specialist to follow the case after doing all necessary interventions and first aid measures.
As ER doctor, I was the first responder when CODE BLUE is announced in ER or anywhere in the hospital. We used to manage cases of Code Blue in male ward, female ward, OB ward, Pediatric ward or even laboratory and X-ray departments.
I was responsible about staffing plan of ER to ensure there is sufficient number of ER doctors with right skills and ensure enough to give successful outcome of patient care. Arranging duty schedules for ER doctors, keeping enough coverage of all shifts, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. In addition to coordination with hospital administration regarding vacations of ER doctors.
Accompanying emergency cases, transferred by ambulance to King Fahd Hospital in Al-Baha (45 km by Aqabat Tuhama) and Prince Mishary Hospital in Baljurashi Hospital, as well as complete medical supervision on the case in the ambulance. I used to accompany about 2-3 cases per month for more than 20 years.
Coordinating work in emergency dept. whence organizing weekly schedule of the department's physicians working hours around the clock distributed on three shifts, day, afternoon, and night.
Coordinating the leaves of emergency department's physicians in order to keep the work flow as required.
Good command of all regulations and circulars organizing work in emergency departments.
Preparing the daily statistics report of emergency patients and presenting it to the administration on daily basis.
Keeping good relations and mutual respect with all colleagues including emergency physicians, specialists, consultants, in addition to nursing staff, technicians paramedics and administration staff.
Used to manage my account in MOH portal for self service, in addition to other applications like Mawared, Mudiri, Tabaud, Tawakalna, Seha, Mawid, Tatamman, Ashanak, and the latest Wasfati application ,
Complete and accurate understanding of all Ministry of Health plans with regard to work during Hajj and Umrah seasons, and how to deal with urgent cases during the overcrowding rush hours, and mass gathering medicine, how to deal with faint cases, heat stroke, heat exhaustion, cardiovascular disease, MI, DM, Stroke and neurovascular diseases, hemorrhage of all types, loss of consciousness, injuries, burns, buildings collapse, rainfall, flashfloods and other disasters.
أثناء فترة عملي كطبيب طوارئ كنت أقوم بكافة مسئولياتي في إستقبال المرضي و الكشف عليهم و معالجتهم , مع فرز الحالات الإسعافية الطارئة من الحالات العادية و إجراء الكشف الطبي و طلب التحاليل و الفحوصات المعملية و الإشعاعية الضرورية .
* التعاون مع الطبيب الأخصائي في معالجة الحالة بعد عمل كل الفحوصات اللازمة .
* الإشراف علي كل المرضي المنومين في الأقسام الداخلية بعد نهاية الدوام اليومي و في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع و الكشف عليهم و تقديم العلاج اللازم لهم في حالة حدوث أي طارئ .
*مرافقة الحالات الطارئة و التي يتم تحويلهـا بالإسعاف إلي مستشفي الملك فهد بالباحة ( 45 كيلومتراً عن طريق عقبة تهامة ) .
* تنسيق العمل بقسم الطوارئ من حيث ترتيب الجدول الأسبوعي لدوام أطباء الطوارئ .و تغطية العمل في القسم الذي يعمل علي مدار الساعة في ثلاثة مناوبات صباحية و مسائية و ليلية .
* تنسيق نظام تحويل الحالات الحرجة بين الطبيب المحول للحالة و المستشفي المستقبل له من حيث إرسال الفاكس و متابعة الرد و تنسيق سيارة الإسعاف و الكادر الطبي و التمريضي المرافق للحالة .
* تنسيق جداول إجازات أطباء الطوارئ بحيث تسير دفة العمل بالشكل المطلوب .
* الحفاظ علي علاقات الود و الإحترام المتبادل مع كافة العاملين من حولي سواء زملائي أطباء الطوارئ أو الاطباء الأخصائيين أو هيئة التمريض او الإحوة الفنيين و الإداريين .
* الإهتمام بمراجعي القسم من المرضي و تقديم الخدمة الإسعافية و العلاجية لهم بكل ما يتوافق مع الأصول الطبية و التعاميم الواردة من مقام الوزارة .
* التفهم الكامل و الدقيق لجميع خطط وزارة الصحة فيما يخص العمل في مواسم الحج و العمرة و كيفية التعامل مع الحالات الحرجة في ساعات الذروة أثناء الزحام و التدافع و كيفية التعامل مع حالات الإغماء و الإجهاد الحراري و أمراض القلب و الشرايين و مرضي السكري و أمراض الجهاز العصبي من الجلطات و النزيف و فقدان الوعي إضافة إلي الإصابات و حالات الحروق و سقوط المباني و نزول الأمطار و السيول و كافة أنواع الكوارث .
* المشاركة في أعمال موسم الحج لأكثر من ثمانية مواسم و في أكثر من 15 موقعـاً في المناطق المقدسة .
