General Summary:

1-Collaborates with Sales Team in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
2-Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
3-Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
1-Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Sales Team & Accounting Manager.
2-Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.
3-Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.
4-Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
5-Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products. Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
6-Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
7-Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
8-Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
9-Collaborates with Marketing Team to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
10-Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
11-Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.
12-Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
13-Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the product’s presence throughout Egypt.
14-Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion programmers plans.
15-Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organization and control of sales managers and sales representatives to accomplish specific objectives.
16-Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales newsletters and electronic bulletins.
17-Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan.
18-Personally observe the performance of medical representatives in the field on a regular basis.
19-Provide high standards of ongoing training for the Sales representatives so that they possess sufficient medical and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
