• Oversee and monitor schedule updates and communicate any foreseeable issues and risks
• Develop structure to manage and control the interface with other projects to support the project team in their coordination activities
• Responsible for the project change management and change interface with the programme team
• Implement project requirements in the relevant systems within the programme and coordinate with the relevant teams
• Responsible for preparation and coordination of the project presentations and overall progress report
• Responsible for leading the project controls team and supporting the project functions including design and construction.

Working with PMC team of the project as Project Controls Engineer in which we represent and manage the works for our client ALDAR. We manage all aspects of the project with the contractors, consultant and authorities. Also, produce very informative reports, summaries, and KPI's to indicate and highlight early alarming situations and deal with them on spot. My duties can be summarized to the below:
o Produce a feasible schedule and sequence of activities; tasks with logic, resource and cost loading.
o Perform detailed activity planning for the different levels of the schedule hierarchy.
o Apply project coordination procedures as required per specification throughout the construction period of the Contract.
o Manage the project and contractor coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Operations during Project execution; make adjustments to the Project Schedule as necessary, including all schedule required changes/update to scope in order to reflect contract requirements and approved changes.
o Validate Change Orders or Extension of time raised by contractor into schedule and assess impact (time impact analysis with delay effect concurrency).
o Analyze and evaluating critical path & schedule risks.
o Monitor and update project progress at different stages of its development. Including the supervision of project tools such as engineering and procurement logs, and S-curves, and look-ahead schedules for constructions.
o Review contractor various project reports and make sure they are reporting proper status and not backing up any false claims
o Generate various project schedule report requirements, which includes but not limited to key performance indicators (KPI’s), such as bar charts and graphs to reflect the project status.
o Micro plan and manage main contractors and all subsidiary subcontractors schedule in order to be aligned with the client business goals and milestones. Give early alarm whenever anything is deviating from track
o Assist the Project Manager in evaluating and resolving schedule impacts.
o Assist the Project contracts manager in correspondences and time or cost related claims/disputes.
o Develop the project execution schedules, including both the preliminary and initial baseline schedules in Primavera.
o Maintain the schedule; including monthly (or more frequently) progress updates, and any logic revisions necessitated by changes in the construction program sequence.
o Establish production goals and prepare short duration (2 or 3 week) look-ahead
schedules, which are more detailed than the main baseline to assist the
o Assist contractor and PMC construction managers in planning day-to-day work.
o Analyze and monthly (or more frequently) update the master schedule, ensuring all activities are still in line with the target substantial completion wherever applicable.
o Develop a detailed schedule with retail delivery team manage tenants with their design/pre-fit-out/ and fit-out stages in order to target having everything on track as per client business goals.

Project Controls Engineer at BL Harbert International LLC

Worked as project control engineer for the main contractor of the works of The design and construction of the New Office Annex, Major Rehabilitation and Upgrade in Amman, Jordan. The project aims to provide a new office annex and community facilities, as well as major renovation to the existing 12-acre embassy site, including security upgrades to the Chancery building, and life safety and infrastructure improvements.

Worked under PMO as Planning Engineer. Assigned to the project of The Mall of Qatar MEP Works. A project more than 5 square kilometers built up area in addition to facilities like six substations, a cooling tower, a five star hotel, and two large water tanks. Having the duties of: -Supervising, analyzing and reviewing management reports to reflect project needs, progress, and areas of concern. -Creating the EPC resource loaded and leveled schedule and -monitor the works according to it; then prepare various reports to either look ahead or show delay and SPI to either top management or engineering/procurement/site personnel. -Using Earned Value Management concepts to rate site efficiency of all disciplines to control their direct cost -Managing subcontractors planning and cost issues, preparing their payments or back charges and supervising their SPI and MP.
