• Develop cost and resource loaded baseline schedules integrating design, subcontractors and material supply schedules into master construction schedule.
• Prepare and issue project management related correspondences to the Engineer and Nominated Subcontractors (e.g. notices of delay, performance issues, etc)
• Ensure timely and accurate project status reporting for management and client review. Developed detailed periodic reports that ascertain schedule and cost variance explanation and corrective actions required.
• Coordinate schedule data with the project team during weekly meetings. Identified and communicated schedule and cost issues to the team.
• Monitor and Control work progress for Nominated Subcontractors and report the required action to management.
• Incorporate performance issues/delays into the project schedule and developed Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to claim for Extensions of Time (EoT).
• Prepare progress status presentation for clients during weekly progress meetings and conduct effective discussions with regards to current project status.
• Assist in planning and controlling projects costs and generated regular forecasts and S-curve to ensure EAC was within estimated budget.
I worked in two large construction projects ($50, 000, 000) and ($70, 000, 000) respectively. The scope of work included multi-service buildings, K-Spans, infrastructure, roads, and civil, architectural, electro-mechanical tasks. I utilized my planning expertise to help the company win construction claims and complete the project on time with the targeted profit margin.
• Scheduled construction and procurement activities and monitored the project cash flow.
• Gathered project status information and generated progress reports for management review.
I did my graduation project around construction engineering management for three areas in Cairo Festival Cities. These areas are: multiple stories garage, Marks&Spencer and IKEA store. The project included the development of resource and cost loaded baseline, risk management, cash flow analysis.
