• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the HSEQ Management System in
accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, IATF 16949, GHSEQ, Group
Sustainability, and customers requirements.
• Be accountable for managing the completion of HSE audits as approved in the HSE Audit Plan and
ensuring effective implementation of findings and corrective actions.
• Lead internal and external ISO compliance audits.
• Follow HSE audit group protocols in recording and maintaining audit documentation.
• Regularly report progress of audit activity against audit plan and follow-up of outstanding issues and
provide status reports on agreed actions and expected dates of completion.
• Provide advice and support to the organization on the management of workplace hazards and risks
and compliance with governmental regulations.
• Lead the implementation of approved section policies, systems, standards, and procedures in order to
support the execution of the department work programs in line with enoc and international standards.
• Development and implementation of Annual HSE business plan in accordance with GHSEQ standards.
• Provide specialist HSE advice and support for new/upgrade projects. Participate in the HSE
studies/reviews, as required.
• Development and maintenance of business (Operational, Financial, Ethics) risk register as a Risk
Champion and document risks in line with established risk management guidelines and parameters.
• Ensures Emergency Response Plans are always up to date and provide support as required to maintain
a reasonable level of emergency preparedness.
• Develops and implements HSE training programs to staff to increase their HSE awareness and
knowledge based on coordination with functional specialists.
• Liaises with local authorities (Fujairah Municipality, Civil Defense & Port of Fujairah) for all ELOMP
HSES issues.
• Support in HAZOP study of new projects and implementation of HAZOP action plan (expansion
projects).
• Development and reporting of HSE, Business plan, and Sustainability KPI reports.
• Review operational processes, techniques, and equipment to determine preventive measures to
reduce air and water pollution, oil spillage, wastage of resources, disposal of hazardous chemicals, etc.
within the company facilities and ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
• Review information on all incidents and perform trend analysis. Participate in the investigation of major
accidents and recommend organizational improvements to prevent a recurrence.
• Prepare and chair HSE committee meetings at regular intervals,
• Interpret safety aspects of contractors, this includes reviewing contractors performance on safety
aspects and producing overall rating assessments, and following up with contractors management on
areas of concern related to any HSE issues.
• Acting as a Radiation Protection Officer for Lab facilities.
• Implement & maintain the ICE Management system.
• Participate & supervise the investigation of accidents near misses and unsafe working conditions,
maintain all related records, and generate periodical reports on the same.
• Conduct training sessions for all levels of staff.
• Ensure Emergency Management Plans are always up to date and provide support in CRISIS
Management Drills.
• Carried out statistical analysis of accident data to identify trends and recommend remedial actions.
• Promote HSE culture across the organization. Liaise with employees, contractors, and customers as
necessary to ensure they are aware of their obligations in complying with HSE standards.
