• Worked on a project to prove existence of spatial autocorrelation in network data and its impact on outcome of an investment appraisal.
• The aim of the project was to understand the impact of spatial autocorrelation on network data (road network) and the implications it can have on major maintenance schemes. The secondary aim was to find a modeling technique that will account for spatial autocorrelation so that the model does not suffer from erroneous parameter estimation, which may result in inaccurate investment requirements for road maintenance.
• QGIS, PostgreSQL, IBM SPSS Modeler, Geoda & R were used for data analysis.
