Sr. Cost Control Engineer for New Jazan International Airport
* Preparing the cost break down structure (CBS) and Target budgets for the projects.
* Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims
* From suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly
recorded.
* Detailed Scrutiny and Analysis of the forecast at completion (FCAC) on monthly basis for various projects.
* Prepare Cost movement report for all projects - Monthly.
* Highlighting and to raise early warning signals on the costs, profitability margins, and completion completion
period etc., so as to track the Project margins and take necessary corrective actions.
* Reviewing and Auditing for Petty cash Invoices and controlling how to spend.
* Prepare annual forecasts cost budget and revenue for each project to be submitted it to finance department
for company cash follow.
* Ensures that purchase orders respect the budget.
* Assesses and analyses all amendments to the project as a result of change orders and takes necessary
actions to amend budget and enhance financial controls and processes.
* Analyzing cost & revenue (planned versus actual) trends and compare them with the actual billing and
reporting problems to Executive Management.
* Ensures assistance to project managers for the preparing of variation orders, claim and the extension of time.

The Project Consist of 99Villas / 13 Buildings / 6 Floors Huge Buildings for Student Housing / Infra Structure for all
mentioned above.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Check and review contracts, project budget, billings, plans, schedules and specifications.
* To determine and ensure that the project execution/cost is aligned with the budget.
* To ensure that the required materials and deliverables will arrive at site on time.
* Evaluation of variation orders for submittal and approval.
* Proactively and constantly partnering with the project engineers in tracking and analyzing the project
Costs and physical work progress on the project against the budgeted project cost.
* Attending project meetings and discussions with the Project site team and external clients.
* Reviewing and assisting in approving subcontractor’s invoices.
* Overall monitoring Project costing, and maintaining it with in the budget.
* Site inspection of work done and material at site, Monitor monthly stock closure.
* Variance analysis.
The Project consist of:
1, 063 Villas, 4 Schools, 6 Mosques, Medical Center, Sewage Treatment Plant Facility, Main Water Reservoir, Irrigation Systems, Roads and Site Landscape with project entire area of 1, 750, 000 M³ and total contract value of SR1, 067, 554, 135.00.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Check and review contracts, project budget, billings, plans, schedules and specifications.
- To determine and ensure that the project execution/cost is aligned with the budget.
-Progress valuation and preparing project monthly billing for Consultant approval.
-To ensure that the required materials and deliverables will arrive at site on time.
- To ensure that all delivered materials and project cost are recorded on SAP.
- Evaluation of variation orders for submittal and approval.
Compliance with Company Policies and Site Safety Standards.
* Reporting to the Project Manager
* To monitor proper implementations of activities at site and to ensure that the execution of activities are in
accordance to the contracts and specifications with high regards to the safety policies.
* Prepare and submit Manpower, Material Requirements to the Construction Manager.
* Prepare daily construction activity report and submit to the Planning Department.
* Preparation of job allocation table for Foreman, Lead man and Labors.
Coordinating with the Consultant and Client at site.
* Attend the Progress Meeting and Prepare the Feedback Report.
Monitor the Progress and Quality of Works.
* Checking of site works for all site activities in accordance to the approved drawings and specifications.
