Joined the bank as Systems Analyst for the development of the Branch Front End applications and currently working as senior project manager handling critical Strategic Information technology projects/programs of the Bank. Earned recognition for the exceptional performance exhibited during the implementation of several key Projects.
•Involved in the Project which to analyse the GL accounts of the Bank and identify the owner and the responsible entity for each of the accounts as part of the process reengineering for effective monitoring and efficient usage of the GLs.
•Managing one of the major programs of the Bank worth USD 4.5 million for the Implementation of EMV Compliant Card Management System and ATM Switch, one of the critical programs of the bank. The implementation of the system helps the bank for providing better and secured services to the customers and shifting the liability by becoming EMV compliant.
•Formulated the Project Management Framework, which is the basis for the Project Management teams for managing the project and the PMO for monitoring the activities and quality assurance of the Project Management of different projects.
•Managed the Branch Technology Transformation Program, one of the strategic programs of the bank worth USD 4 million, which involves the transformation of the Branch Technology from the DOS based environment to the Windows environment which includes Replacement of the Branch Front End system in Oman and UAE, Optimization and upgrading of the connectivity with the branches. Achieved 30% cost savings due to conservation spending and the utilization of the new technologies for the consolidation of hardware.
•Managed the implementation of the Corporate and Retail Internet Banking systems, as part of the bank’s strategy to utilize the new technologies and providing better facilities to the customer.
Responsibilities included network / Systems administration to support daily production activities in the Branch and overseeing Software Development requirements for Circulation and Advertisement departments of the Branch and Inventory Monitoring of the IT Dept.
BE in Electronics and Communications Engineering with 70%.
