Panashe Madzore

I am a Social Work graduate with 1 + year of hands-on experience
supporting people with disability, mental health conditions and complex
needs in a community setting. In my recent role I provided daily person
centred support to 8-10 clients, assisting with personal care, meal
preparation, medication prompts and household tasks while encouraging
independence and client choice. I regularly supported clients to access
the community by attending medical appointments, social groups and
recreational activities, which helped build confidence and reduce
isolation. My role also involved maintaining accurate case notes and
incident reports, collaborating with families, support coordinators and
allied health professionals to review and implement support plans and
applying positive behaviour support strategies to manage challenging
situations safely. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed and
culturally safe practice from my Social Work training and placement
experience, I am comfortable working with diverse clients.
