- Understand the project requirements, constraints & assumptions; analyze the workflow of awarded project.
- Pre-Planning & Resource forecasting for Engineering & Technical activities of the Project.
- Understand the technical requirements from specification; extract technical data for Tower/Gantry design; Prepare Loading calculations (Wind & Point load with relevant Factor of Safety as per International Standards), prepare Loading Trees, Electrical Clearance Diagram using AutoCAD, PLS Tower Model, Tower detailed Design Diagram, Extract Foundation Loads from PLS analysis and Stub design.
- Developing the Tower structure models using PLS Tower and validating its representation on structural behavior.
- Responsible for Tower Type Test to analysis tower behavior with pragmatic conditions & design feasibility. Perform destructive Tower testing if required & ensuring the results should within 15% range of FEA.
- Conducting Structural design, Reviewing & interpreting the FEA results and recommend design changes; conduct testing of finite element models as per technical Specifications.
- Attaining bidder conferences for Pre Tender & Post Tender Clarifications (PTC) meetings.
- Tracking project activities with the key emphasis on quality, drawings, standards & codes; reviewing schedule & formulating budget.
- Outsourcing & managing third party services and monitoring their performance in order to ensure that the assigned deliverable is aligned to project requirements & quality.
- Using a combination of analytical skills of CAD & CAE tools to develop Overhead Transmission Tower which are lighter & easy to manufacture yet durable enough to meet all performance targets.
- Develop project plans & baseline schedule using specialist planning software Primavera P6.
- Create project plan, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) & project Schedule; Discuss & finalize the project plan with key stakeholders and Ensure/Monitor the execution of project work as per project plan.
- Verifies critical path and interfaces between design/ engineering/ procurement / execution.
- Attending project review meetings to evaluate progress & outstanding issues control the debottlenecking and ensure quality & timeliness of deliverable.
- Liaises with engineering/operations personnel to ensure availability of materials and vendors to meet plan dates.
- Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
- Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
- Preparation of project planning report, S-Curve, Progress Curves, Manpower Histogram, Weekly Progress Reports, Monthly Progress Reports, overall project dash board etc.
* Understand the business process, study and analyses the workflow of awarded project. Assess/document detailed project requirements, constraints, risk and assumptions with stakeholders/management.
* Perform project assessment, defining high-level project scope and obtaining approval from stakeholders.

- Type / Prototype Testing of the product at Central Power Research Institute Testing Station, Bangalore, India) to familiarize with the design feasibility issues due to manufacturing & assembly constraints.
- Destructive Testing as per ASTM standards (results are within 15% range of FEA).
* Acting as:
- Certified IMS Auditor for implementing Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) & Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001).
- Internal Auditor for periodic & annual auditing in terms of Integrated Management System.
* Assembling finite element models and applying various loadings & restraints.
* Creating the project plan, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) & project schedule and presenting the project plan to the key stakeholders.
* Develop & obtain approval for the project charter and Perform key stakeholder analysis.
* Manage the Communication with Client/Utility representatives, deal with government agencies and authorities for necessary requirement / approvals.
* Outsourcing & managing third party services and monitoring their performance in order to ensure that the assigned deliverable is aligned to project requirements & quality.
* Rendering technical inputs & relevant information to Marketing for cost estimation required for business development such as project proposals, tender bids and contracts.
* Obtain and manage project resources, execute the tasks as defined in the project plan, implement the quality management plan, implement approved changes according to the change management plan.
* Liaising with HR & Finance departments to obtain the necessary approval for departmental cost related activities such as recruitment, team development & training and required software.

* Coordinating with procurement dept. for receipt of material.
* Study & Review the Project Specification of awarded project.
* Coordinate with the client / contractor and liaise with relevant authority.
* Strong role to transmitting the operational activity through SAP/ ERP system in overall firm like preparation of SOPs, manuals & work instructions of activities for the unit and maintaining reports for facilitating decision making by the management.
* Ensure timely completion & delivery of projects as per client’s requirements & norms.
