Jawad is a Bahrain based retail business group. Worked as Centralized Distribution Centre Manager looking after end to end distribution for all gulf territories for all categories i.e. Fashion, Restaurants, Household brands, reporting to the Divisional GM’s& GGM.
Main Responsibilities:
•Oversee running of Warehousing &Distribution operations - last mile fulfillment to GCC (including UAE)
•Reverse Logistics - IN/OUT Gate pass process implementation for stock and non merchandise movements into Jebel Ali Free Zone; UAE & Other GCC country Business Reverse Logistics - RDC set up in Al Qouz Industrial Area, processing, receipts, storage, Sale pick and pack operations, VAS processing (Tagging/Pricing, etc); sale stocks preparation as required by business, arrange monthly write off of damaged stocks as per company guidelines.
•Brands under Jawad Fashion Banner - Charlie & Me, Cache Cache, Pumpkin Patch, Monsoon, Hush Puppies, The White Company (Furniture & Fashion), Celio, HunkMoller, Bhs, Quiz, Origem, Tape‘o’Loeil, Camaieu, Lakeland(Household)
•Brands Under Jawad Restaurant Banner - Jamie’s Italian, Papa Johns, Thai Express (Only In UAE)
•Looking after the Distribution of total stores Locations (Fashion-246 + Restaurants-46) across Gulf region.
•Managing, implementing, and tracking/quantifying initiatives that drive improved levels of performance in Inventory, Cost, Quality and service across supply chain; Staffing under warehouse team - Managing a team size of 119.
Main Achievements:
•Successful Set up of project & execution with vendors of 46mtrs Cold storage freezer unit within up & running premises in Jafza
•Actively Managed 35, 000 SKU Inventory across all fashion and footwear brands, developed cycle count procedure and consistently attained 98% inventory record accuracy.
•Effective 20% cost reduction control in DEWA bills
•Staffing & operational cost control
•Successful New formulation of daily replenishments for ‘A’ grade stores from RDC, especially for FOOTWEAR Business.
