Responsible for procurement and inventory management for Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Induction Furnaces, Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), Rolling Mill, and Tube Mill operations.

Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical spares, consumables, refractories, ferro alloys, electrodes, lubricants, hydraulic components, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and maintenance materials.

Procure equipment and spares for Induction Furnaces, including coils, yokes, water-cooling system components, furnace refractory materials, and electrical spares.

Manage procurement of CCM spares such as mould tubes, rollers, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
Source and procure mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation items for Rolling Mill and Tube Mill maintenance activities.

Coordinate emergency procurement to minimize downtime of furnaces, casting machines, and rolling operations.
Handle CAPEX and project procurement related to plant expansion, furnace upgrades, and mill improvement projects.

Monitor inventory levels of critical production and maintenance spares to ensure continuous plant operation.
Conduct supplier evaluation, RFQ management, techno-commercial negotiations, and vendor development.

Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, and Projects departments for procurement planning and material availability.

Manage local and international sourcing, shipment follow-up, customs documentation, and delivery compliance.
Supervise stores activities including material receipt, inspection, stock control, issuance, and periodic inventory audits.
