Role in the project: leading 3 Risk & Finance IT project workstreams in the ERC (Economic Risk Capital) Program, to delivered Risk Models implementations in compliance with SR11-7 and BCBS 239 standards, grouped by:
•MLRM - Position Risk Models
•EORM - Non Position Risk Models
•Horizontal ERC Reporting.
I manage the Risk & Finance IT Team dedicated to ERC. I work with other vertical teams involved in the ERC Program, including CRO Business Change Team, QuantDev, DevOPs, Market System Dev team, Data Quality Management team, IT QA, Architects; in total approx. 300 resources working in different locations worldwide
Role in the project: CCN Infrastructure Program Manager for Account DG TAXUD (European Commission) - I managed the program which include several projects in the CCN infrastructure - program budget was approx. 5 million EUR per year - the team of CCN project manager was composed by 2 PMs full time + another PM partial time. Most relevant project in my program from 2014 to 2016 were: migration of CCN gateways from IBM AIX to Linux (Red Hat), approx. 100 servers distributed on national authority sites + upgrade of 10 centralized servers located in 2 Data Centers in Luxembourg.
Previously in 2014/1025, still working for IBM in Wroclaw Delivery Center, I managed the project to deliver a new IT infrastructure for a completely new electronic Bank System for FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) car dealers.

I delivered projects and coordinated staff ( in-house and contractors) in Asia (Taiwan, Philippines), in Middle East (SW development and QA) and Gibraltar (SA, UI/UX experts, POs), with these results: mentoring local software engineers, instigating and applying project management methodologies and QA best practice, creating and executing process flows, driving towards standards for appropriate documentation and communication
Web Team migration from Waterfall to Agile / Scrum Framework. Web Team composed by: 15 Web Developers + 2 QAs + 2 PMs. Sprints average duration: 2 weeks. Average User Stories per team & sprint = 12.
Communications management between the different teams located in different time zones and cultural environments.
Up to.20 different payment methods have been fully integrated in the gaming online platform, bringing money into the system from banks in Far East Countries, including China.

Role in the project: I covered the PM/BA roles for a new project in the automotive sector, a Diagnostic system, for TME (Toyota Motor Europe). I worked in a SCRUM restricted team of Java specialist, reporting directly to the Company Head of Delivery Services I was responsible for: roadmap management, requirements analysis, functional specifications, the architectural structure and the detailed design of the system. I covered the role of Scum Master inside the Team, composed by 1 PM, 2 BA, 3 developers and 2 Testers. I met Customer (TME) representatives on regular basis (one, two times every week) in Brussels.
Achievements:
• Deployment of a complex Java applet which used legacy API functions, hosted by a complex Web Portal in a J2EE environment, using intensively XML, XSL and DITA format
• I have been working on the system model using UML and Power Designer as a tool, and using Microsoft Project and Visio for roadmap and plans.
• I have been writing the test specifications and managing the functional system test using TME’s Test Director Platform.

Role in the project: PM, BA and TM roles covered, working for a startup Company (an Italian startup web news agency) very close to the Project Board and CEO as well as with the Marketing Department. As TM and Software OOD&P I delivered several Web services which were developed from scratch for data integration, in ASP.NET (code behind C#) starting from SOAP/XML schema
Frontend development.
I lead all the life-cycle of the project by myself. It consisted in a set of Web Services in JAVA technology to deliver information from the local Telecom Service Provider to the SISAL’s Customer Service about the problems concerning the telecom lines used to send automatically bet data from the SISSA Italian network (more than 5000 points) to the Customer Services - those lines are used to send automatically information about the most popular national betting games (see www.sisal.it - games are SuperEnalotto, Totocalcio, Tris etc..)
Design Authority role covered, related to the Final Acceptance Test for large real-time control software for MULPIC system - MULPIC is a plate cooling system used to obtain a large spectra of steel production, improving the quality of the process with fast cooling techniques. I worked with
Grupposigla’s Customer) - Deep review of the embedded software Ericsson Labs’ DSLAM products to be compliant to the new Ericsson standards security specification (the Labs’ have been recently incorporated in Eriksson, with some problems of standardization). I review the Ericsson ISO compliant standards, collaborating with the Labs
IRole in the project: As a Senior Project Manager and an IT technical consultant, I coordinated the activity of a team of system and software engineers in the following areas: ICT and call center platforms, CRM (IeT Solution CRM platform customizations) and Web Application development, in staff with the CTO. Working for that Company, I deliver consultancy services several Companies and Organizations
: I coordinated the activity of a team of 15 people, mainly system and software engineers. I also collaborated with the Sales Manager to determine Marketing strategy & solutions, and visit potential Customers as pre-sales steps. Software Production was focused mostly for Health Departments and PLM-PDM Systems for large and medium enterprises (PLM Experience using ProE and Windchill and customizing Java PLM Web Solution)
Achievements:
• Software Consultant for Ferrari Racing Team in Maranello (Jan 04 - June 04). Software System delivered - to monitor the temperature and pressure of the tyres in the pit lane, in collaboration with Datamat.
• After one year the startup Company was acquired by Gruppo Sigla (see above)
As Product Manager I reported directly to the European OPS Manager. As network manager I reported to the European Network Manager. Both of them were located in London. My Main responsibility was to coordinate all the technical activities for the customers located in the main cities of North Italy (more than 2, 500). Furthermore I was responsible for;
• managing the Network Nodes (ATM) in Milan and Turin., i.e. olving of the problems related to data security
• surveying of the customers’ sites for the set ups, including LAN - wireless LAN integration analysis to our Bloomberg intranet
• managing the technical stores in Milan and the supplies to and from London (European headquarter)
• contacts with national and foreign couriers to solve and prevent problems connected with the setup of conferences and seminars both organized by the Company itself or in which the Company participates to promote its products on the national and foreign markets.
• making analysis, design, implementation and testing for several software customizations to cover particular features required by the major Italian Clients, in cooperation with our software lab engineers located in New York and London
Achievements:
• Moving all the Customer Services (Field Services, Network Services, onsite Customer Services) from outsourcing to in-house
• Moving the Main Milan Data Center to a different provider (COLT), set up of Milan and Turin Datacenters under my direct responsibility
Role in the project: As a Software Project Leader, I develop a system for the automatic access of trucks to Terminal Container Operator Areas and a BI system to elaborate statistical information for the Port Authority in Genoa
