• Support project companies in the construction, commissioning, commercial operation, maintenance, and acceptance of the facility.
• Preserving the long-term asset value and occasionally preparing investments/improvements to enhance reliability and strengthen the continued financial viability of the assets.
• Overall new project business development and bidding activities in the Middle East and Africa region.
• Networking with major suppliers, EPC, lenders, Insurers, O&M contractors, advisors and consultants, and regulators
• Develop the most cost-effective technical plant design, configuration to achieve winning LCOE of new project bids as per company winning strategy.
• Review the project bid documents, prepare the technical specifications of the project is aligned with the minimum functional specification. Contribution to the choice of technologies, configuration analysis, availability, degradation, schedule, KPIs
• Prepare the clarification lists and deviation lists for the project bids. Review and finalize requirements underbid all project documents markups, EPC, LTMC and O&M contract term sheets.
• Review the technical proposal of Lenders, Lawyers, Financial, EPC contractor, LTMC, O&M contractor, and advisors.
• Negotiation with Off-takers(regulators) Finance and Commercial bid documents, EPC, LTMC, OEMs and O&M contractors to deliver the required technical solution. Develop the technical notes for lenders and participate to finalize technical due diligence for the lenders.
• Commercial, technical and operational management of all the assets, provides effective leadership by developing a broad partnership with the O&M Company.
• Developing Finance Model and Asset Model, the thermal power and solar power plant model, energy yield assessments, performance model and fuel demand model.
• Finalizing the technical inputs/assumptions to the financial modeling for the new project to achieve the most competitive LCOE of the project bid.
• Contract management, being actively involved in the transparent application of the O&M agreements, the P(W)PA, EPC, SHA, LLA, LTMC, Fuel, Ammonia Supply Agreements and all other technical and operational agreements and cultivates a good relationship with the different stakeholders.
• Responsible to support in developing the best O&M practices and reporting. Support finance team to analyze the performance of the asset. Contribution to interface with Lender's Engineer and support Lenders' due diligence
• Prepare all O&M and technical related documents for the bid (O& M Organization chart, O&M references, O&M philosophy, etc.)
• Management of internal approval process (O&M).
• Support of CEO and Construction Managers of Project Cos, Plant Managers of O&M Cos, for functional problems during construction, commissioning phase and during commercial operations.
• Technical resource planning (internal-external), Proactive technology/contractor detection
• Hand-over of technical aspects and documents to the Project and the O&M Companies
• Report on ongoing process and issues to the General Manager-Middle East Branch, Tech and Asset Director - London office and respective company representative (seconded) at project companies in the Middle East and Africa region.
• Monitor asset performance of plants KPI’s for all plants under the Middle East and Africa region.
• Compliance of the plant with laws, rules, and regulations; and all Environmental obligations.
• Assist in managing insurance claims. Assist Project Plant Manager to manage outstanding warranty Issues and other discussions/claims with EPC contractor.

Working as Sr Engineer to manage and monitor the plant O&M asset management, Efficiency & performance monitoring, Long Term Maintenance Contracts (LTMC), corporate risk, company revenue budget, gross profit margin, O&M strategy, pricing, contracts and agreements such as Power & Desalination Water purchase, Fuel Supply, Seawater Supply, Land Lease, Power & Potable Water plant performance, EPC.  Coordinate meeting with OEM and LTMC contractor to manage the Gas turbine, Generator, and Steam Turbine long term maintenance contract. Optimising the turbine and generator asset through long term maintenance planning to maximise the life and utilisation of spares.
