• Deputed as Network Operations Lead and taking care of the IT network Operations of Clients.
• Oversee projects and supervise the day-to-day operations of the team.
• Coaching and Mentoring the New joiners.
• Collaborate between different off shore teams during the time of crisis and escalations.
• Attend Monthly review meetings with other Functional Delivery Units
• Responsible for the effective implementation of the process for the Service Desk and Incident Management” and carry out the respective reporting
• Undertaking research for the root-causes of Incidents and ensure the enduring elimination of interruptions..
• If possible make temporary solutions (Workarounds) available to Incident Management. Developing final solutions for Known Errors..
• Process breakdown for Problem and Incident management.
• Co ordinate cross department communications when required to assist in resolution of Incidents/ Problem
• Follow-up on escalations and issue tracking.
• Ensure that the correct Technical teams are engaged and proper focus is paid to outages and recovery.
• Effectively Manage the Incident Queue by assigning the right Incidents to the team Members.
• Responsible to ensure Severity 1 & 2 SLA's are met. Ensure proper management of Sev1 & Sev2 queries/ monitoring.
• Send High Priority Alert notifications to the Site Leadership and provide regular updates on the progress made about any network related issues.
• Approving the results of root cause analysis (RCA). This includes the documented root cause (or the decision that such could not be found) and the documented workaround.
• Reviewing all "on-hold" problems and known errors.
• Provides support (PMO) to the overall Global Provide organization to allow for efficient resource allocation and capacity management for both BAU and major deal deliveries.
• Build and maintain the production planning model for the delivery of the Projects.
• Addresses and seeks productivity improvements towards revised and optimized processes
• Documents project progress including project dependencies via standardized reporting.
• Support the medium term capacity planning via PM-Tool
• Coordinate with internal Project teams and stakeholders to build a rolling forecast of Project Delivery and calculate the impacts on the delivery pipeline.
• Hands on experience on 2800, 2900, 3800, 4500, 7200, Nexus series.
• Knowledge & experience in networking technologies such as Ethernet, ATM, MPLS, ISDN, IPSec, VLANs, HSRP, TCP/IP, PPP, EIGRP, BGP, QoS, ACLs, VPNs.
• Experience in using network management tools for performance, tuning, troubleshooting and capacity planning E.g. SolarWinds, Concord eHealth, MRTG, Cacti, NetQoS, Spectrum, Aruba, ACS server etc.
• Cisco Voice Telephony support for Monsanto.
• Manage and Support E1/T1/ISDN lines
• Troubleshooting of LAN network and co-ordinate with ATT and other ISP’s to keep the WAN up.
• Configuration change of the Network devices to optimize performance of LAN.
• Working on CUCM Ver 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0, Unity, Unity connection, CME/CUE, H323, MGCP gateways and Gatekeepers
• Other IP Phone issue and IPT network related issues.
• Working on 4500 series, and Moderate experience on Nexus Switches.
• Hands on Experience on WAAS/WAE.
• Serve as a single Point of Contact of all Level 2 escalation.
